Important Copyright Reminder from Coach JenHi Everyone!Recently we've had a number of issues with members posting copyrighted information- primarily in their blogs. The original authors have been contacting us, asking that their work be removed, or properly cited, or in some instances they want to be paid for the fact that someone else is using it. I'm asking that you pass along this reminder to your teams: If you are going to post something on the boards or in your blog that someone else has written, you need to credit the source. Our policy is that you can post a few sentences and then you need to link to the source so that people can read the rest of it. You should not be posting an entire article, for instance, and if you are going to post something you always need to cite it. Thanks in advance for your cooperation and for spreading the word about this to your teams!! Coach Jen |

Beware of Phishing Scams - Donate Through Reputable Organizations Only!The recent disaster in Haiti is obviously making many of us consider donating to the relief effort. Before you do, though, beware! Although an appalling tragedy, there are those who would use it for their own gain, and are sending out "phishing" emails globally, requesting "donations" which actually go to line their own pockets, and may also give the criminals details of the payment card you use.If you want to donate to disaster relief, PLEASE go directly to the appropriate websites and do NOT follow links in emails requesting donations. Please pass this warning around your teams. |

Request from Spark Coach JenHi everyoneDuring the holiday season, I know a lot of people like to send out SparkMails to all of their friends, wishing them Happy Holidays. Many times when someone gets that SparkMail, they click "Reply To All" and send a response back. If the list of friends is quite large, it creates a cascade of SparkMails- which can become annoying and time-consuming to continue deleting. So I would ask that you spread the word about using the "Reply To All" button very carefully. Please let your teams or others in the Community know that this button should be used sparingly to prevent problems. Also consider sending individual Happy Holidays messages instead of bulk mailings to help avoid this issue. Thanks so much! Coach Jen |

PLEASE READ THIS FIRST PLEASE READ BUT DO NOT RESPOND HERE! ABETTERME and I deeply appreciate each of you and hope you all meet and exceed your goals. We now have 87 different topic lines going under Introductions (at last count - LOL). We don't want anyone's needs to go unmet or posts not to get answered. So, I'm asking everyone to click on the *Introduce Yourself Here ONLY* link and post your introductions there. You can all read each other's stories more easily and help each other along.
