This short video is a news story done by Fox TV Chicago. It interviews SparkPeople Founder/CEO Chris "SparkGuy" Downie and several SP members in Chicago who talk about how the site has changed their lives.

We are excited about sharing this video so members know this company truly was started to SPARK millions of PEOPLE to reach their goals (which is where the name came from). As the video discusses, Chris sold his first company to eBay and then used proceeds from that sale to start SparkPeople. SparkPeople now has a small team of people passionate about helping others. We even consider our members to be part of the team because each person's success makes it more likely other people will learn about SP and use the site to reach all types of goals.
