Troy Community Center

- Submitted by 2008LYNN - 2 Comments

Resource Details Below

The Community Center is open seven days per week. Monthly passes are available to residents and those employed in Troy for $18 and $22 per month.
The fitness room has more than 50 pieces of cardiovascular equipment, two complete lines of circuit training equipment and a variety of free weights. As you move into the gymnasium, you will notice two high school regulation size courts with the ability to also accommodate badminton and volleyball. Large locker rooms for men, women and families are also available to store your recreation equipment while you visit. Recreation pass holders have access to these areas by purchasing a monthly or daily membership.

Comments From Other Members:

I love the TCC! It's a great value, and I find that once the New Years crowd dies down it's easy to get on a machine.

It's open to residents of Troy and people working within the city. I work out in the mid-afternoons and can always get on a machine right when I walk in.

The workout center is somewhat cheap but very small. If you go at a peak time, you'll stand in line for a treadmill. And if you need to use the childcare services you will spend on average about $60 a month just to work out. total rip off for childcare.

These muffins are very filling!

The whole wheat flour makes for a dense muffin, which I like. You only need to eat one! If you want a lighter muffin try using whole wheat pastry flour, which is more finely ground and available in the bulk bins at larger grocery stores.
