I love Fitworks. I started in Cleveland and kept the membership when we moved here. The childcare for the kids and the great PILATES classes and Group Power keep me coming back! I have made great friends here and the staff is AWESOME! Working out here is FUN!

Comments From Other Members:

I left Fitworks on Beechmont ... a whole lot of management and childcare issues, however since leaving I know they made some staffing changes. I go to the BRC now and totally love it the childcare is out of this world ! The machines are great and a decent selection of classes.
Come try it out !

I strongly recommend avoiding the Fitworks in Norwood. I was a member for several years. I stuck with it out of convenience even though each new manager lost steam after the first couple months on the job and things would slide after a brief improvement. It would take weeks or months to repair equipment. Some things like the soft grips on the crunch machines were not repaired when I left, even though I reported them shortly after joining and they kept falling off. Management didn't re-set the stations at night so dumbells and grips would be hidden all over the place. The trash in the women's rest room was always overflowing and I don't think it was checked regularly. Managers would tell me to report such things but the people at the front desk never wrote it down and there didn't seem to be any sort of tracking system for repair notices. One employee even got nasty with me for reporting something not working. That was shortly before I left.

Aside from the problems with management, the facilities aren't that great. the equipment was pretty old. The changing facilites were cruddy. Aside from the sauna it reminded me of my middle school locker room. I didn't risk a shower there.

I recently Joined fitworks in West Chester. I love it. It is busy but still many machines are available I do not have to wait to use them. All I need now is a work out partner to motivate me.

I really enjoy Fitworks. Love the movie complex with elipticals, treadmills and bike..watch a movie in the dark and get fit. The trainers have been great with me..polite friendly and push me to my limit and always giving me kudos. I go to the one in Forest Park on a regular basis but have visited the new one in west Chester..what a place!

These muffins are very filling!

The whole wheat flour makes for a dense muffin, which I like. You only need to eat one! If you want a lighter muffin try using whole wheat pastry flour, which is more finely ground and available in the bulk bins at larger grocery stores.
