Life Time Fitness

I've been a member of several fitness clubs, but Lifetime Fitness is my favorite by far! It's on the pricey side, but you get what you pay for! They have a TON of cardio machines so there is never any waiting for the machine you want to use - it's open 24 hours so you can work out whenever it's convenient for you - great / interesting group classes offered - HUGE inside and outside pools with waterslides - rock climbing wall - basketball / volleyball / racquetball courts (tennis courts at Rochester location) - adult sport leagues - I could go on and on!

Comments From Other Members:

I love Lifetime. Classes are great, not all are easy. It is clean. It is pricey but you have to think about what all you get compared to other gyms.

Lifetime is the best! A lot of places are intimidating for someone who is just starting to work out on a regular basis, but there it's comfortable and I like to go so I continue to. The staff at Shelby Township is awesome too :) I love the pool and the aerobic classes are great.

I have been a Lifetime member since 2001 and I will NEVER go anywhere else!! I agree, it is on the pricier side to many, but if you use everything it offers, it's worth it! Never put a price on health : )

I wish there was one close by my house. I've been as someone's guest before and they are the nicest gyms.

I'm interested in Lifetime..I'm currently a member at the YMCA Farmington Hills...but the classes are boring and I'm looking for something new. What's the fee for membership? Is there a special holiday rate?

These muffins are very filling!

The whole wheat flour makes for a dense muffin, which I like. You only need to eat one! If you want a lighter muffin try using whole wheat pastry flour, which is more finely ground and available in the bulk bins at larger grocery stores.
