7/14/14/ Today I went for a morning walk with JD and Emma. We walked on Freedom Parkway from East Avenue to Moreland Ave., and then turned around. We started at 8am and got back a little after 9 am. Since it is July, I think we need to start out earlier, so it will be cooler for us. It wasn't horrible or anything, but it was warm and very sunny, although we had lots of shade on the walk. JD is over weight and a daily walk is in order, as well as watching portion sizes. The same is in order for me!

Today is special because it is Day 1 for better fitness for Kay. I am drafting my exercise and healthy eating goals this week. I know I want to exercise daily (can take off Sunday), track my exercise on SparkPeople and eat more consciously.
