Monday, I'm counting as day 2 in a row...
... even though I didn't stay in calories...
It's hard to explain, but suffice it to say I mystery shop a restaurant chain and sometimes literally cannot choose what I can order.
But I was in every other range. So I took a good 50 m... Read more
Restart... day 1... and a new week.
I didn't fall off the wagon until Thursday evening and I only stayed off, sort of, until today. So 3.5 days good last week and I got a great restart today.

4 days... taken one at a time can teach you a lot.
The last few weeks of May, my eating and exercise just fell apart. I wasn't feeling bad per se... maybe I was depressed, I really don't know. I was mostly just feeling lazy and I kinda decided I didn't want to care. Other than that... I was v... Read more

3 days of exercise so far this week and 2 days of being in range for calories. That is motivating. I have avoided the cake a co-worker brought in... and I ate the strawberries instead (fresh, no sugar).

That was the weekend that was.
I didn't eat too badly on Saturday, I just ate a lot and was afraid to tally the calories. I did eat salad twice, so it's prolly so so bad as I thought. Didn't get any exercise in to speak of either, apart from a few sit ups and push ups... oh ... Read more
Well, I'm not quite down to the 23:42 for the 2 miles yet, but I did do it in 24:05 and that includes 2 running stretches of 6 & 3:45 minutes each and only one minute walking.
My sit ups are up to 38 and my push ups are well over 20!!

It was another long weekend, but it was actually great. Drill weekends kind of give me time away to be removed from the day to day grind. I like my unit a lot and and have a great time with the people there.
I feel strong and energized. ... Read more
bouncing back again and again and again...
That's life in maintenanceville... I'm not down or anything, but resilience and the ability to bounce back from a not so good day/week/month has to be a characteristic of many MaintenanceVille residents from what I have seen.
