Days 305, 306 & 307-Slow, but still moving!
My right knee has been giving me trouble for a week now. I think it was the bike ride last Saturday. I had the baby carrier behind me, pulling supplies (water & snacks) which put extra pressure on my knees as we were riding. I may have the be... Read more
Days 303 & 304
Yesterday I had a nice lunch with hubby in Omaha. We went to the sushi place at Aksarben Village. We had the Seattle roll (bakes salmon, asparagus, cream cheese, wrapped in rice) and shared our lunches so we each got to try two lunch entrees. ... Read more
Day 302-Took it easy today
My knees are really feeling the workouts lately. Maybe the Zumba and basketball pushed them over the edge. I went for a walk today for my exercise. I ended up doing 1.7 miles in 31 minutes.
Thanks for all the encouragement yesterday. ... Read more
Day 301 Hard to jog
My body was rejecting me today, but I powered through. I decided to walk a little longer for warm up and cool down because of that. I walked down to the school and back for my warm up. That's a pretty good sized hill. Then I jogged 3 miles (... Read more
Days 299 & 300 WooHoo!
Sunday got off to a rocky start. Sean (7) started throwing up in the middle of the night. Hubby, Patrick (14 and Sean's roommate), and I were up cleaning him up, the bedding, and taking care of him for half the night. Patrick was such an awes... Read more
Day 298-Bike ride with part of the family
We decided to leave the twins home with our two oldest today while we went bike riding. The twins are learning on two wheels, and the training wheel bikes just don't cut it on a real bike ride. Our two oldest were up late last night because of... Read more
Day 297-Homecoming events

I've kept my streak of 10 min of exercise per day going. It was a tough one yesterday. I didn't sleep well and had to go to work at 2pm, so I took a nap after everyone was off to school and work. I almost ran out of time, but squeezed in a 10... Read more
Day 294-Beautiful day for a jog!
I finally slept! I woke up pretty refreshed, kind of groggy from the supplements I take to help me sleep, but I felt pretty good. I got started early with laundry, good thing too. The old washer is on it's last leg. I think the random screws... Read more
Day 293-Something is better than nothing!

Day 292-Another quick walk
