Day 182-The Good, The Bad, The Expensive
Yesterday was our day to celebrate Hubby's birthday. We decided to finally go on a bike ride. This first entailed getting all eight bicycles functional and loaded up into our trailer. We didn't leave town until 2pm. Yes, it was a little frus... Read more
I went for a solo walk today. I didn't even grab my music, just enjoyed the peace and quiet. I went one mile in 16:40.

I had a nice walk with hubby today and a couple of friends who happened to be passing by on their own walk as we started. Good company, good conversation, good walk! Hubby and I only did one mile in 20 minutes, maybe a little more distance, bu... Read more
Day 179-Food Prep
I've only got a few quick minutes to spark today, so I'm blogging before I exercise. I plan to do 10 minutes on the elliptical. That's all I have time for.
Lots of food prep today, but the kids are helping me. I have to make my meals for... Read more

Day 177-Jogging, and a giant sprinkler!
Half of my kids didn't realize that I have to work later this afternoon, so they were all puzzled at my hurrying to get them down to the track. They wanted to have a watergun fight, it being the first day of summer break. They all agreed to go... Read more
Day 176-The kids are home for the summer

Day 173-Soccer games and three mile jog

I basically repeated yesterday's workout with a few changes: 15 min elliptical, a different weight set (biceps, chest, delts, quads), various crunches, and then stretching. I think the elliptical is giving my calf some needed rest too. I hope... Read more
I had to take Patrick to the doctor today. He woke up with a swollen eye. It wasn't goopy, so I figured it wasn't pink eye. The school thinks any eye problem is pink eye, so I just kept him home and planned to take him in. It's a good thing ... Read more
Days 169 & 170-Still going!
