I saw this on a friend's blog, asking others to "pass it on." It's a good one, and I without hesitation, copied it to paste here. Pretty easy, right?

I put in over 1000 minutes of exercise during the 28 day bootcamp just finished. It's so rewarding to feel the new strength in my body, along with the creaking joints of arthritis! I sort of ended with a stumble, though, because I simply forgot ... Read more
Day 22 - almost there!
I've been doing way more cardio exercise than is "required" but I'd already started that habit. The daily videos are much easier than the first time around, but I still feel my 68 years when I do them. It's a little sad that when I moved easily ... Read more
Down 1.6 lbs. since starting. That doesn't sound like much, but it's the first real loss in a month or more... I keep bouncing up and down.
The really cool thing is how much stronger I am. In some ways, I'm in better shape than I was while ... Read more
Day 10 - Feeling more fit
Just watched Dr. Oz and yet another fitness expert on his show. He seems like he's throwing mud on the wall--get a big handfull of information and throw it out there--some will stick to someone somewhere. He seems really fit himself. I've notice... Read more
Day 7 - 83 minutes!!!
Just as the day before was a no-energy day, day 7 was a full-of-energy day. It pays to rest! I did 30 minutes of Curves, 45 minutes walking with Leslie, and day 6 and 7 of the bootcamp videos.
I'm gratefully aware of how much more easy the... Read more
Day 6 - Nada
I've been keeping up till yesterday. Not enough sleep the night before, but that doesn't really explain my complete exhaustion. Honoring my decision to listen to my body, I didn't do the day 6 exercise. Plan on doing two today. I did that last b... Read more
Days 3 and 4
Completed Nicole's video for Day 3; did nothing else but was pretty active all day long. Steps for the day: 7455, which is pretty good for me on a non-cardio day.
Day 4: Completed video. I like this day's video: upper body workout with a ba... Read more
I'm really hesitant to record this, for fear I won't carry through with it. Right now, though, it seems appropriate to be accountable here.
Yesterday, Day 2, I exercised twice: one with Nicole's video, which was challenging as always. I als... Read more

Gift from Spark People?
I started out the day with 25 Spark Points. Has this happened to anyone else? I almost hate to raise my hand about this "gift," for fear someone will make sure it doesn't happen again.
Loving this time of year.....
This is Mister Lincoln. Isn't he beautiful? Wish all of you could smell this rose; we actually picked him out by going to a rose show and sniffing around. It's glorious! Th... Read more
It's nice to be involved
I'm a "homebody." I love our home, love to stay here and just putz around. At one time in my life, I wanted to work and have the respect and competence that comes from being a professional. With that in mind, I got a degree in accounting at age ... Read more
I've had trouble adding another blog here. Within two hours of my last one, my mother died, and I've had this odd feeling I wanted to leave it up for a while, as though there was a tiny piece of my mother still there. Kind of foolish, but I don'... Read more
Two pounds gone...
Here with my mother in snow country. We experienced zero degrees a few mornings ago. Fresh snow yesterday, gone today (though the old snow is still here). I get to wear sweaters every day, which I love.
I'm eating regular meals, little sna... Read more
