As I sat this morning, sipping my coffee and reading articles on Sparkpeople, I was struck by how quiet it is in my house in the morning. I've learned to use the time for planning, reflection and sometimes, a good "self pep talk".

About halfway to my goal
Life, for me, is rarely black and white. Always shades of gray.
I'm about halfway to my first major goal, and I'm feeling a bit impatient today.
Admittedly, I feel proud of my lifestyle change and weightloss so far.
I did spend 30 minu... Read more

Popcorn for lunch
DD works at a movie theater and one of the perks we enjoy is free movies. She took me to see "Horrible Bosses" today (funny, but definitely rated R for a reason).
I ate movie popcorn for lunch...and I enjoyed the heck out of it!
