Training and Rewards
I think I have a touch of a cold. Either that or I'm having the allergy attack from Hades. I'm not sure. Anyway, the whole "Am I sick? Should I work out if I am?" question has popped into my head. I don't feel all sapped out and tired though, so... Read more
I'm gonna throw this out in the hope that someone reading is busty - I'm losing weight, but I'm not losing bust, so my band size is going down and the difference between my band and my cup is going up. O.o Anyone know of a good place to get spor... Read more
Back on the Road! :D
I got to run today! Yay!
Well, more like wog - I went very gently because I wanted to make sure my foot was really okay to run on. I am icing it right now as a precaution. It didn't hurt while I was out, but occasionally I could feel it. I... Read more
Well, my son brought home a stomach virus that's making its way through my household. It's knocked my training schedule out of whack. Ah well, maybe Thursday I can get back on the cycle. I'm mostly over the bug, but not over it enough for a vig... Read more

Ups and Downs
Well, when I was massaging my PF tendon I found a teeny bone spur.
I'll be doing some cycling till I'm sure I'm healed up. No point in exacerbating it, right?
On the plus side, I bought a shirt today, and I was really please... Read more
Crosstraining! (and recipes)
Well, it's pouring out this morning, again, so I'm gonna crosstrain on the elliptical today. And after work I'm going to get myself a nice extra pair of superfeet. :D

Monday Morning Weigh-In
Lost two pounds. Still going slow and sensible.
My left arch hurt when I got up this morning. I guess I'm either going to have to tape it while I run or maybe wear the booty at night? I dunno. I'm trying the stretches suggested on Runner'... Read more
OMG my run was fab! :D
New Balance shoes rock my socks!
Okay, now that that's out of the way, I feel marvelous. No twinges in my arches or my knees. Ahh, the difference a proper fit makes!

New shoes! New cross training!
Well, I have shiny new shoes. I got some New Balance 768s. My feet are happy so far, although I was out late last night and slept in late, so I didn't run, I just crosstrained.
The crosstraining kicked my butt tho. I can feel my abs. I ha... Read more
The shoes have to go
I love my hubby but he doesn't get the shoe thing...I had a good run today till the end when my left arch began to ache on the push off. It's not excruciating, but it is achy. Fortunately it was during my cool down so all I had to do was walk ... Read more
Longer is better, I think...
I've been very hung up on running a 10 min mile, and when I did my run this morning, I did a 12 min mile for 38 min, as opposed to the 30-33-ish one that I have been doing.
I've also been reading "No Need for Speed," and so I'm mulling over... Read more
Not as awesome as the last few; today my lungs decided to act up. Instead of rocking a nice 12 min mile, I did more like 15 min mile. Oh, the difference EIA makes. D:

same time, less happy feet
So I'm still rocking my 12 min mile, but I didn't use the Sauconys, cause my feet didn't like them. I wore my old shoes instead, which made my feet happier than the SCs but they are still less comfy than we should be. So the hunt for a new pai... Read more
Today's run -
My feet, they are sore. I bumped up my training today; instead of 60 sec run/90 sec walk, I am doing 90 sec run/120 sec walk. I ran in my new Saucony Fastwitches, and the arches of my feet are stinging a little, which doesn't happen in the old ... Read more
