And that's all that matters http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5404148 (These are pretty much the same as my posts.. But it's better for me to keep track of in the future. Sorry for duplication)

Starting to lose steam unfortunately. :( And I felt a little down. I blame my lack of sleep. The last week I've had less than 6 hours of sleep a night. Some nights, just sleeping 2-4 hours even. And I haven't had free time to relax in a while.

I didn't get to post yesterday. I didn't eat the enchiladas because we bought medium salsa and I didn't rea... Fri, 28 Jun 2013 00:49:35 EST First couple of days of The Spark Solution http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5402002 Day 1 of The Spark Solution.

I've been up since 5 am and I just got home from school. Needless to say I'm exhausted, but I was able to follow the plan today. I'm super proud that I got my workout in early in the morning, so the rest of the day was almost effortless. I had more energy because I did that. I did a lot of the prep over the weekend before my classes started to make sure I could follow the food plan. My food choices haven't been great and knocked me off my weight loss p... I never thought of myself as a person "on a diet" or followed any crazy plans like that. Not formally. But now I realize, I wasn't too far from that mindset. My previous mentality was if I... Wed, 9 Jan 2013 14:14:35 EST Took a step back again, but ready to take two forward http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=4538090 Super bummed... But persevering... I haven't watched my in take for food the last week and my exercise has reduced to a quarter of what I did the week before. School has just been stressful and we went from having no oven to no stove or oven because the electrical socket for our new electric stove has to be repaired... We won't be able to do anything until Thursday...

As far as exercise, I think I was just pushing myself too hard too fast. I read about it in the Spark book, but ... Sun, 16 Oct 2011 13:05:10 EST Accomplishing the Small Things http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=4469499 I should be rushing off to school in a bit, but I missed my morning cardio, so I'm just visiting SparkPeople for a moment to keep me motivated. Funny thing is I finally got the Getting Started Trophy and it reminded me of Fast Breaks. I didn't really keep up with them when I first started, but I thought I would try again.

Here are my new and existing goals:

Write in a journal 3 times per week : 1x / day
-I've been bad about this, but accountability and suppo... Tue, 6 Sep 2011 13:30:06 EST Back to Basics http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=4460598 Been a long time since I've written. I want to write more, but I just haven't had the chance to.

We did move to the house we wanted to rent. :) It's great! We live on a farm property now, where our landlord grows lots of fresh organic tomatoes, and he has a farm stand that gets fresh vegetables and fruit from other farmers. He's big on eating naturally without pesticides or fertilizers, so it's easy to just walk a house or two down and get fresh food. What I need to work on ... Thu, 1 Sep 2011 12:27:58 EST Happy 4th of July! http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=4340510 So it's 4th of July weekend. I'm trying to be as conscious of myself and my health habits as I was previously. Today will be a real test because a lot of the time a barbecue at my family's house means lots of good food and overeating. I'm hopeful that I can avoid it this time and will try to incorporate a lot of vegetables to keep me on track. I started tracking my food again this past few days. Yesterday, I actually got to track everything. Unfortunately, it was a big wake up call. My... Mon, 4 Jul 2011 12:47:13 EST Steering Myself Back On Track http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=4319877 I was doing really well with SparkPeople for the first few months of the year... But in the last month, I have been avoiding logging on. I'm just ashamed of how far I've fallen... There was a combination disappointment, sadness, and depression in my life that set me off kilter. I stopped calorie counting by suggestion of a coach, but as relieving as it is not to have to be tedious about reviewing what I eat, I am also unsure if this is the right time to do so. I stopped going to my karate ... Fri, 24 Jun 2011 11:10:55 EST My Start http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=3999699 I found SparkPeople some time ago after I downloaded the Diet & Food Tracker on my phone. It was one of the first apps I decided to download on my brand new phone. I knew counting my calories was important somehow and thought the app would be a good idea. I began tracking what I ate and soon became disgusted by how many calories I was eating. I resolved to start eating healthy and cut out the food that was keeping me fat. I tried using the meal planner function on the app, but I was inco... Mon, 7 Feb 2011 23:18:44 EST
