My daughter is going to come with me so that will be fun. I am not sure about it so time will tell if i stay in this one or switch to a step class. On the positive I have lost 8.4 lbs in 2 weeks, this is using my scale at home which i know is off but that is the one i am using for spark people that does put me ahead of my goal to be down 2... Wed, 29 Jan 2014 12:52:51 EST first week and half of challenge this a few days late but better late than never :). It has been a week and half since i started the challenge. To date I have lost 6 lbs (this is using my home scale which is higher than the scale for the contest.) I have been going to the gym at least 3 times a week hoping to increase that in the coming week. I am currently using my son-in-laws truck so I use more gas to go anywhere. I am hoping it will help me stay motivated and give me some accountability. i am looking forward to a great change in 12 weeks. i will post pictures through out the time just to help me see a change. Sun, 12 Jan 2014 15:55:45 EST snow storm and cold We joined Golds Gym Dec 29. I have been to the gym twice since we joined. wanted to go more but we had a snow storm come through that gave us 5-8 inches of snow and then it started blowing. Almost everything was closed for 2.5 days. Then it was also frigid temps with windchills -45 to -50 F. I did do some exercise while i was snowed in. Sad thing is i found out my treadmill at home has a short in it and decides to go super fast that is not safe to be on it lol so have to break out the dvd for... Wed, 8 Jan 2014 22:30:09 EST new year/ new me I went to the gym yesterday and used my 1 free personal trainer. i am in better shape than i thought but really need to stay constant with working out and eating better. the scary thing that happened was my husband who was working with his trainer almost past out and got real weak and light headed. I am assuming that he worked too hard and didnt stop when he should have (or least that is what i hope is wrong). There was 2 ways to win the biggest percentage of weight loss which I came in 2nd by exaclty 1 % so didnt win the money there. Tue, 20 Nov 2012 11:15:50 EST Stress to the max Been a stressful weekend to say the least. Started off Friday I took my Mom to her GP for some sinus issues. Well she is very depressed and having some paranoia fits. She has been on her own for 40 years. She moved in with a "friend" about 2 years ago, nut he is a truck driver and is not home at night. Last week she started being a afraid to stay home at night alone. The Dr upped her antidressiant medicine and then pulled me to the side and talked about getting her end of life wishes together... Mon, 12 Nov 2012 13:28:10 EST 5 lbs to lose in 2 weeks At my weigh in on Monday I lost 2.5 lbs which means I need to lose 5 lbs in two weeks to meet my goal for my 8 week challenge. I am now off the steriods and I am feeling 100% better so I can get back to my normal workout. Mon, 22 Oct 2012 11:00:49 EST TGIF I went to the dr yesterday and I have a severe allergies which is at the start of bronchitis., He increase my nose spray to twice a day and gave me predasone to take for 3 days. So I am hoping that the side effect of increase appetite does not hurt my weight loss. yesterday I had no appetite so I am hoping since I am only on them for 3 days that it wont really kick in. at least today I feel like working out I have not done that in 2 days. hope everyone has a good weekend Fri, 19 Oct 2012 12:12:25 EST sick :( I have held off the allegries and sinuses till middle of October which is very late for me normally I get hit hard in August. Well at least I am hoping it is just allegries but going into the dr today just to be sure. This has been coming on the last 3 days but have still been able to work out.Yesterday I didn't do anything other than walking so will count my steps for that workout. I did not have the dvd at home yesterday so that was the one I was suppose to do. I don't think I will do them everyday may take a break and walk.
