I don't know but I am hoping it is. For the last three months or so I have been bouncing between 165-168. Inches unchanged too. Plateau? Naw, In my mind to be a Plateau I have to be working at it and getting nowhere, I just haven't been working at it.

This morning I weighed in at 167, I want to be at 159 by the new year. I was thinking if I was going to spend all this time with my new training partner then I should probably give it a name. Do you have any ideas for me?

I don't have a preference male, female or neutral name, heck I don't care if it is a "name" or some other word. Back off the sweets Sun, 31 Jul 2011 21:01:11 EST Different Perspective http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=4396440 So when I really got moving I lost almost 30 pounds in 6 months. A few before couple after but mostly in that time frame. That was 6 months ago. No I don't claim to be in a plateau. I know why I stopped losing. I became less strict about what and how much I ate and I almost completely stopped moving. So while frustrating at least I am not working my butt off and seeing no results, lol

Last week I saw a friend whom I haven't see in a while. She told me I was looking great, as... Sat, 30 Jul 2011 19:53:32 EST I borked it http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=4378274 A coworker gave me a elliptical she had just sitting around. I am minimum the 3rd owner. From the looks of it it was made in the 70s or 80s. Now since I have it on the carpeting it has always rocked just a tad. Well 15 minutes into my workout yesterday I noticed it started rocking a lot, like very unsafe. Upon closer inspection I have cracked the frame. Probably had a small crack for a while and I just finished the job.

RIP poor elliptical, you did me well. Now to break it i... Thu, 21 Jul 2011 23:47:05 EST Food tracking http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=4358837 Food tracking is a pain, I hate it. Hubby makes it an even bigger pain by not being able to tell me how much of what he puts in nor roughly house many servings. Gah

This doesn't mean I don't appreciate his cooking, because I really do, just a bit frustrated is all. Tue, 12 Jul 2011 21:04:19 EST Bootcamp Day 11 http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=4356834 So 11 days in, no missed days yet. Extra cardio every day. No skipped days yet. This week we are supposed to track our food at least 3 days. I hate hate hate measuring and tracking my food. But I did today, and went over, lol. I knew that macaroni salad was a bad idea.

The video and he elliptical felt ok today. Don't know if it was because of my mood or because I have been working good the last 11 days.

Hubby has some things coming in the mail for me for my birth... Mon, 11 Jul 2011 23:51:28 EST Bootcamp week 1 http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=4348307 I Have finished 7 days of SP Bootcamp. I didn't WANT to, but I talked myself into it for 7 days., plus at least 30 minutes of added cardio for each day. Those videos are harder than I remembered. I let myself use the easier changes for alot of them. Hopefully I will get better over the weeks. Thu, 7 Jul 2011 22:39:28 EST Bootcamp http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=4337379 So I started the 28 day bootcamp again. Decided to measure everything before I started so that I can see my results at the end of the month. Also did something I haven't done before. I took before pictures in just shorts and a sports bra. I don't usually do that. I don't think my appearance in something I never would wear out of the house is very important. I rather take progress pictures in my everyday clothing or in dress up clothing. Any how, here I am in all my pasty glory.
<... Sat, 2 Jul 2011 14:39:25 EST Re-dedication http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=4336406 I know that January is the traditional time for renewals and re-dedications but I always thought that July is a good time for it too. After all, it is about half way through the year. Of course that fact that it is my birth month might have something to do with it too, lol. Its also my sparkaversary! Well I am sure there is a date on this website saying otherwise but I didn't really start using SP until mid july last year.

So in the first 6 months of SP I lost about 25lbs, with... Fri, 1 Jul 2011 23:43:14 EST Vacation http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=4311312 I am on vacation, woohoo! Away from home for nine days, two of which are driving. I weighed in at 172 on Friday, I don't want to be any higher after my vacation.

We did a 5K yesterday with friends and family. My slowest one yet, but that is ok. My problem with blogging is a live a boring life. Get up, go to work, come home, eat, try to get some exercise in. Sometime during the day do some reading, go to bed, rinse and repeat.

I suppose I could post a blog everyday with nothing but SSDD in the body.

I don't know maybe I should find one of those blogging challenges but blogging just for the sake of blogging doesn't feel like it has a purpose, I just don't hav... Mon, 6 Jun 2011 23:46:55 EST Bed time snack http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=4279525 Something I struggle with is bed time snack. I find that I am just a bit hungry before bed, not really hungry but just a bit. I am trying to not eat then, I don't need food then, I just want it. I am trying to stop. I am not even positive I am hungry then, perhaps it is a trained response due to my normal snack at the time. After all I eat dinner only 1.5 to 2 hours before bed.

So tonight instead of snacking, I am blogging. I am young enough to realise I may change my mind later so I have not made any permanent changes but I do not see me ever having children.

Now this is not to say I hate children. I enjoy playing with my nieces and nephews whether blood or not. I share in the joy when my friends find out they are expecting. So I made plans to do video 7 and 1 on Saturday.

Went out Friday night, had a bit to drink. Actually got pretty intoxicated, but not to the drunk stage. His child who used it went away to college and it was taking up space so he decided to store it in our large warehouse. I got permission to use it. Now the kid who was using it might be 100 pounds soaking wet so I am finding the the belt slips. You got tickets for things like buying training sessions and signing up a friend. Or by bringing in canned food. I walked to the grocery store next door and bought 6 dollars of canned green beans. The big prizes were an x-box and a wii. While I have been wanted a wii I wanted the x-box more because hubby's x-box broke recently and we already have all the games.

I did not win the gaming systems but I did win a table top Foosball game. I stepped on the scale in the morning and saw that I was up 3 pounds since Friday. I ate poorly but not that poorly. Got to work and saw that the dessert from the company party were still in the break room, had a mini cup cake. Ten minutes later had a cookie. They called my name for the rest of the day but I managed to resist. A co-worker was popping her gum which was driving me insane. About this time I realized that all these things have something in... For the pretest I made a whole 2 push-ups. Now two weeks down the road I did my post week 2 push-up endurance test. I made 11 push-ups! Now 11 is not enough to move on to week 3 and that is a bit sad but still its a great improvement! I will repeat weeks 1 and 2 but I get to use column 3 this time. Mon, 29 Nov 2010 22:42:05 EST
