Tue, 8 Apr 2014 20:28:41 EST April is off to a good start http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5665530 Although I am not "delighted" with last week, I AM pleased. I am back on track with my eating, not perfect but definitely an improvement. I hit my minimum 550 5 servings of fruits/veggies, 194 8 cups of water and I did not binge 224 . I feel like I have a realistic plan and my start in April gives me the boost to do even better this week.

I struggle with overcoming my "all or nothing" way of thinking and I have devised a simple spreadsheet to ass... Sun, 6 Apr 2014 08:56:02 EST One Day at a Time http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5659979 The last 2 months have been a nightmare. I won't go into details for A.) legal reasons, B.) I do not want to relive it. Suffice it to say I have been stress eating. It had been YEARS since I had been in the 240s and I was so excited about really making it to my goal "this time" and now I have crept back up to 251.4 as of today.

I am so sick of spinning my wheels and getting nowhere. Sun, 30 Mar 2014 11:23:41 EST Truth Be Told... http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5648989 Truth be told, "Fabulous February" turned out to be not so Fabulous. 39 Sigh. As much as I tried and fought my way, I'll admit that I did succumb to my usual winter depression. I neglected my Spark Friends because I did not want to bring anyone else down and I did not feel I could be positive enough to help anyone. I felt guilty about it but I could not help myself, let alone anyone else and I did not want to "infect" anyone with any negativity and failure. So I backed off from in... Sun, 2 Feb 2014 21:45:08 EST Moving DD this Weekend http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5604046 We are moving our daughter to her year round rental tomorrow. She took a position at the beach back in September and there were no rentals available except for a furnished vacation rental which she was renting month to month and had to move out no later that April 30th. This will be the FOURTH move for her in less than a year. Hopefully she will stay at this place until she can save up enough to buy a home.

She has had a crazy year. Sun, 19 Jan 2014 17:37:10 EST Trying Something New (and tortuous!) http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5596319 I finally decided to give "The Fast Diet" a whirl.
If you are not familiar, "The Fast Diet" AKA the 5:2 Diet is basically this:

Two days a week you keep your calories to a 500 per day (for women, men get 600) and the rest of the week eat normally. I have been stuck at 252 for a while so I am going to see if I can do this. My SparkFriend FIFIFRIZZLE has had great success with this method. I'll let you know if this breaks my plateau. I think I will try to do my "fast days" on Mo... Thu, 16 Jan 2014 20:24:44 EST
