Amazed http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5795978 Since I got home I also got the flu. All I can figure is that somewhere between Louisiana and here there were about a million people-AKA Atlanta airport. Honestly, walking through that place is like walking though a sea of humans. I'm coming back from my 101.2 fevers, aches and all that is left is this wicked cough and tiredness. Slowly, slowly getting back to walking on the Greenway. No running yet.

So, now I'm at my lightest in 4 years. Honestly, I can't hardly wrap my head aro... Fri, 10 Oct 2014 18:19:58 EST And, gone again. Vegan anyone? http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5784245 I've been taking care of my mama for almost 2 weeks now and plan to fly back to Raleigh next Sunday. She is a fabulous and healthy cook. Having to deal with needing a pacemaker and then a trip back to the hospital with complications, has meant I've either cooked or dined out too much of the time. Glad she is back in the kitchen.

Spent the afternoon with a dear childhood friend who is also an infectious disease MD, and for the last 2 years, a vegan. How did I not know that. Sun, 21 Sep 2014 19:23:57 EST home again http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5754932 after 2 weeks of caring for elderly and eating hospital food and gaining 4 pounds, I'm back again and on the Greenway and eating healthy. I guess if I had to live out of a hotel and eat out as a career, I would figure that out. I also know that there are tons of lessons here at Spark that address those issues. Just haven't accessed them.

Feels so good to be jogging and biking again! And to get back to my real job.

Happy sparkling day to all. He is still putting his brain on an infection, not diet related. We will see. The next step is evaluating for colitis or some such. Even though he didn't think this was food intake related, I'm planning on continuing the low FODMAP reasoning within the confines of a limited short chain carbohydrate healing food plan. It certainly can't hurt! It can only help.

Today I jogged the farthest in what seems...
