I had a little bit of conjestion in my nose last night and I got a migraine yesterday too. It's hard to tell if that was the eggs though because I cheated a little and had a small mixed drink at a friends house (vodka and non-diet gingerale). The night before I also didn't get enough sleep so i was sort of on the verge of a mingraine before I added to the things that trigger it including lack of sleep and alcohol and coco... I was a bit frustrated by my weight and when I went to the doctor today I weighed in at 131 lbs! That's just one lb away from my goal of 130. My scale at home said I was between 138 and 139 lbs! Time for a new scale! The imflamation in my shoulder and hip isn't gone completely but its a lot better from when I ate soy. Tomorrow I reintroduce eggs for 4 days. I LOVE eggs so I really hope i don't have any reactions to them. I have a feeling I will do better with those than... I think soy is definitely getting yanked from my diet for good. The day after eating soy I was super achy in my back and hip and shoulder and got a migraine but today (2 days of being off the soy again) My hip and back are mostly pain free and my shoulder feels better too and I have no tightness in my head. Since my migraines have being diagnosed as hormonal it would make sense that I would react badly to soy since soy can affect your hormonal balance. So ... I ate tofu and some gluten free crackers with soy sauce in them and yesterday I was on the verge of a migraine. Today I woke up and my hip/back and shoulder were super sore. I could try it for 3 more days but I don't want to risk getting a migraine. On my fourth day of eating weat I noticed I had to clear my throught a lot and my nose was a little bit stuffy so I think I may steer clear of wheat for a while. The first day was fine but today I'm feeling just a tinge of a headache...not a full blown migraine but that little tightness that says "be careful" so I took a couple of tylenols. I don't know if it is the wheat that is affecting me or the tomatoes. Some say tomatoes can be a migraine trigger and I made chili for the first time in a long time. I haven't really lost the 7 lbs in 7 days but I've lost 4 so it's not all bad. I think I'm a bit bloated since it's approaching that time of month. Two more weeks to go.
