I avoided purchasing anything from the bakery & instead brought my lunch & snacks from home. In doing so, I not only saved money, but the astronomical amount of calories I could have consumed (but didn't).

Yes, I know this was only 1 day. It takes a few weeks to make it a habit. But, this is my starting... It started slowly going from exercising daily gradually down to only about 1-2 days per week.

Having survived both being in an auto accident involving a semi-truck and stage 4 Cancer, I know I am a fighter... Not a quitter. Quitting was and never is an option.

Last month @ work, everyone received word from HR that the company was switching insurance companies effective November 1st. The not so good seasoning. http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=6134374 Within the last 2 days, I ate so much salty food my hands & legs swelled up... Definitely not good. Remembering what my doctor told me, I increased my water intake & wore my compression socks & glove (for right hand) all day.

Still a little swollen, but the swelling is gradually going down. Hopefully by tomorrow I'll be back to normal. Mon, 4 Apr 2016 00:17:33 EST Great day... http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=6132970 Awesome day today...
