And lately. My shirts ride up over my stomach since it protrudes so much, and then my pants sling down from the fat stomach and so then it sticks out. I feel so depressed. Thu, 17 Apr 2014 15:57:30 EST Interesting Blogs Lately. http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5673359 I have been trying to catch up on friends' blogs lately. I have read a lot of interesting ones. Things that have made me think a bit.

I watched a few of the videos from Olivia from Biggest Loser and her husband on youtube - Fitspiration. One of them was suggested by a friend on her blog. It was about how we became overweight. What started it? I wish I could pin point the real reason. I abused food when I was in high school because I was lonely, angry, depressed. I thought I was fa... Wed, 16 Apr 2014 08:09:00 EST Good Day. http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5672843 I tried to do a workout today with Sean T. I slept well last night but my energy has been low today. I made a decision to myself today that I would drink 3 glasses of water before my first cup of coffee to make sure I got all my water in and then I am still drinking my cup of coffee. I think that is why the slump occurred. Good in theory! I will try and drink it more tomorrow and try and have it earlier to give me my boost. I want to cut back a bit on coffee. I am back smoking and I really ne... Tue, 15 Apr 2014 13:17:24 EST Short Day (w/Pics!) http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5669678 I have to work today from 10:30-3:30. It shouldn't be too bad - it is easier than a whole shift. I am taking the baby to my mom's to be watched (and probably snuggled the whole time!). She sat up by herself the other day and has been doing SO much better with sitting up! We upped her tummy time A LOT and it seems to be working already!

We have been walking with the stroller a few times this week, since ... Fri, 11 Apr 2014 09:14:54 EST Morning Energizer. http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5667934 I made this smoothie for breakfast today: 2 carrots, peeled, .5 c frozen blueberries no sugar added, 8 unsweetened frozen strawberries, 1-2 cups green tea (chilled), and a can of Vfusion Energy Pomegranate blueberry fruit and vegetable juice. It kind of has the fleshy consistency of home made cranberry sauce (churned in a grinder) but it tastes pretty cleansing. I put in half of a lemon's juice in there, too.

A morning detox!

We had pizza last night, and every time any m... Mon, 7 Apr 2014 10:15:56 EST Things Get Worse. http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5662748 I have been struggling with Isabella and my concerns these days. We have an evaluation for a program for babies and kids with disabilities or developmental concerns because she was diagnosed with a gross motor delay. At 7+ months old, she isn't sitting up at all by herself and she stopped rolling over at least 3 months ago. I am really starting to feel anxiety that she may not only have a muscular issue, but it may be some form of autism. She does other things that aren't normal, apparently, ... Wed, 2 Apr 2014 14:53:19 EST Afraid to weigh in... http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5660892 Well, we went to an outlet mall yesterday and I got a few pairs of shorts on super sale. Two pairs of Aeropostale shorts. The even weirder news? I was surprised I was very comfy in a size 8 boyfriend short and I fit into a size 6 without feeling like a tube of sausage in the longer "bermuda" style shorts. I felt great! They were so discounted that there was only a size 6 or a 10 left that would possibly fit me, and the size 6 fit! I was shocked. I know it has to be somewhat vanity sizing, bec... Mon, 31 Mar 2014 13:19:58 EST Hi Ho, Hi Ho and Baby Worries. http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5658531 So...thank you all for the support on my last blog. It really meant a lot to me. I still really miss him, but I know it is for the best... or, that is what I keep telling myself. Maybe not the best for me, but I DO believe it is best for him and he will be loved so much by their little girl!

I guess I have to work tomorrow, which stinks. It is my weekend off. Fri, 28 Mar 2014 10:41:30 EST Sad Day and Night. http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5656723 I am really sad. I decided we should give our cat, Henry, away yesterday because I am pretty positive Isabella is allergic and I know I am. I don't have it too bad since I am used to his fur, but she has had a stuffy nose for months and it is most certainly him. The thing is, they came and got him so soon yesterday and now he is gone. I have had him 2.5 years and I feel so depressed. I miss him so much. I got a cup of coffee just now and for a second, I saw the door closed and was thinking I ... Wed, 26 Mar 2014 06:10:10 EST Back on Track. http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5655237 I did my workout today with someone from work first thing this morning. Mon, 24 Mar 2014 10:08:18 EST Going Well. http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5652775 The visit is going well, the in-laws really like the accommodations and seem really nice about everything. Thu, 20 Mar 2014 22:30:18 EST My Mom Saved the Day. http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5651117 My parents recently acquired a rental property which is currently vacant until Monday next week, so they kindly offered the space for my MIL and her MIL to stay, which they accepted after much cajoling. HER parents who are coming up as well are now staying there too... but whatever. It is $1,200 a week to stay there and it is free so I hope they appreciate it. It is so nice of my parents... I am so grateful.

I feel as though a weight lifted. Of course, we made a trip to the store t... Tue, 18 Mar 2014 21:50:03 EST Back in the Doldrums. http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5650898 I am so back in the doldrums again. I got a call today from my mother-in-law. As some of you may remember, she has a tendency to come visit from a few states away and want to stay for a week to ten days at our house, which has no extra bedroom and just a couch and loveseat, and she brings HER M.I.L. with her, who has severe Alzheimer's. She was here when I was pregnant and when I had the baby, for ten days, and the MIL of my MIL peed all over the place and pooped in my shower multiple times ... Mon, 17 Mar 2014 14:06:17 EST Weekend Update. http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5648169 I really blew this challenge. I lost pretty much one pound over all, but I started before the challenge officially started so my starting weight was low, and then gained, and then lose 6, and then gained some back! Yo yo, much? I did something different the past week. I have NEVER counted doing household cleaning/chores as exercise, but out of desperation and since I was actually spring cleaning and doing stuff I don't do normally, I counted it. I couldn't let my challenge team down completel... Yeah, I have been saying that for about 2.5 years, and even then, I had another drawer of EVEN SMALLER things, thinking the same thing. The pants I dispatched were really nice, but size 3. Not gonna be any time soon, and I'm not sure I want to be that small again! I deprived myself more then, I guess. ... Wed, 12 Mar 2014 14:48:19 EST Worst Weekend Ever. http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5645441 I feel like an antisocial loser sometimes. Especially now. I had a breakdown this weekend. I worked, and then came home to my recently mostly spring-cleaned house and found it a disaster. Had stepson this weekend, who contributed most to this mess. He took a 20-30 min shower without the curtain in the shower and the floor was soaking wet along with the bathmat. He wiped it with his towel, which he balled up on the rod and then tried to hide it, as I almost died falling in the bathroom when I ... Goals & More. http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5636644 Last week wasn't my best. But today is a new month! I would really like a fresh start. I am not "starting over," because I have lost weight in the past 3 weeks. I just didn't lose anything this past week. A surprise? Heck, no! I ate terribly. I even ate poorly yesterday. SO, today is a new day and I am going to get back on track eating the plan.

Back to more veggies (I felt so much better eating cleaner!). Goals for March!

I lost 6 some pounds in 2 weeks, and I really th... Not sure if I want to today. I have eaten so bad this week I feel sick. Last night we ate a bunch of fried fish and fried mozzarella sticks and I almost puked this morning.

Bella had her 6 month check up and she is 15 lbs. 2 oz and 26 3/4 inches long. She was so brave for her shots! I am back on track today. I have been doing this workouts this week, though. I am up a pound as of yesterday, but have been eating a lot of sodium so very possibly water weight. We will see tomorrow. I am not weighing in today.

Anyway, that is it. Have a good week. So tired! I did eat somewhat good and within most ranges through the weekend. I took food to work so I avoided all snacks there. I was ravenous when I got home each day, though, especially last night. We ate out, but since I had only had breakfast and a yogurt for lunch I was okay for my calories at least (even though on this high end).

Also, I measured and weighed myself on Saturday, as per the T25 plan. I am about to start it in a few minutes. 50 minutes of intense cardio and the lower focus. I skipped yesterday, ab intervals, AGAIN this week. I will make it up Saturday after work. I want to have a perfect week. Hubby has been MIA with the workouts this week except for Monday. I ate way over last night. Had a surprise weigh-in and I was 152.0! Wow, another 2 lbs since last week. I hope I keep it this weight for tomorrow's official weigh in.

I am feelin... I had a little under 1,300 calories. I have been doing do good staying on track! Motivating to be motivated! My hubby didn't want to do the work out, and he will skip today as well since we are having people over for dinner and he will say there isn't time. I am going to do the workout in a little while (I still need coffee and breakfast!).

I really pushed through for the most part last night. I really like Sean T an... I went as low as possible with calories to compensate a little bit for eating the pizza on Sunday. I am down to 153 this morning! Last night we did the cardio workout as planned. Wow, was it hard! I tried to do some of the regular moves with the modifiers. I don't know why, but it was hard to do. It seemed a lot harder than last week (not the first time, but the second time last week seemed easier). I am not sure if it was the 2 days off we had (the weekend) or i... We had pizza last night and it was our rest day. We didn't make up our video for Thursday on Saturday, but I ate within my ranges even though we went out to eat, so yay for that. I went way over calories last night with the pizza.

Hubby and I decided to re-do week 1 of the workouts since we never made up the one day, and also to make sure we're ready for week 2. This week will be doing the workouts as they are ordered, because skipping the one day ma... We did our double workout, which was 50 minutes. It was intense! I felt like the house was on fire with how much heat I felt.

Today we do the make up for Thursday's missed exercise. I am down 3.5 pounds for the week and lost .5 inch from my waist, hips, thighs. Arms still the same. On my way!

We had a nice Valentine's day together. I was tired just pre-watching it. I am sore. I am annoyed.

I ate two unplanned things because I got into a fight with my husband. I ate over 1,750 calories today. I sweated the most yet! It was reminiscent of the 30 Day Shred a little bit without the weights. Lots of planks (ugh!), burpees, and tons of lunges and squats. I could barely carry the baby up the stairs. That little added weight made my legs feel so weak! I am still a little sore today, in my arms and shoulders mostly.

I am doing great with my eating. I had about 1,350 calories yesterday. Stayed within all my ranges. This is... It was harder today, I did the Speed 1.0 workout. I couldn't keep up some of the time, as it contained more aerobics moves that were hard for me to follow at that pace. I got discouraged at one point, but pushed through and finished the workout.

I stayed within all ranges today again, and ate around 1,400 calories. I ate more carbs... I also re-did my measurements for the first time in 5 months. 1 month after having Isabella, I was 145 pounds and feeling good, on my way down. Today? I am 157.5 lbs again and I am up 1.5-2 inches everywhere possible on my body. 13 pounds and it is PURE BODY FAT, apparently. So, my mood has been better. I have been eating whatever this weekend since I worked and also because I am SO committed to doing this thing right now.

This was a hu... Mon, 10 Feb 2014 06:43:38 EST Friday. http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5617688 I am going back to work this weekend. Haven't been there in a month since I called off for when hubby went to hospital and I only work every other weekend.

I did good with eating yesterday, although it was rough since I ate a bunch of buffalo chicken dip for lunch. Luckily, I was full all day from it and only ate a reasonable dinner for the rest of the day. I am planning a good dinner for tonight and it fits into my plan.

I am excited to get T25. I worked out with the video a couple of times and then stopped for days. I am going to do it today, though. It isn't as bad as it was the first time. It is just getting moving again that is hard. I think it is do-able for me, so far, at least what I have done. I have done the first two of the six or seven mini-workouts in the 40 minute routine, plus the warm up each time.

I have a friend that is doing T-25 and having great results. Down ov... Tue, 4 Feb 2014 10:59:04 EST Staying on Track! http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5609178 I am still on track. I stayed within my calories yesterday, and all of my ranges except sodium, I went slightly over. I made Mexican chicken breasts, which contain salsa and some taco seasoning. I already use no added salt everything I can, but cheese and spices I still use regular (except for lower-sodium taco seasoning). I am on track to be in range today, too, so here we go. I am gearing up to do my workout here shortly, as well. I will at least do up to where I went yesterday, but most li... Wed, 29 Jan 2014 12:39:12 EST My First Tme Back to "Real" Exercise. http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5608235 I popped in the Jillian video "Burn Fat, Boost Metabolism" this morning. My muscles were burning from the warm up alone! Wow, was that a reality check. I did almost the first two circuits. I counted it as 10 min, plus 5 for the warm up. I am going to do it every day and work up to the whole video. I think doing it gradually (as a FORMER all-or-nothing girl) will help me stick to it. I always have to do it all perfectly, or nothing, but no more! I count my meager 15 minutes. It has hard, and I... Tue, 28 Jan 2014 12:56:56 EST Each Day a New Beginning. http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5605839 I am starting over today. I have been over sodium a lot every day for the last week, I have been over calories a lot every day for the last week except one or two. I have been eating terribly while hubby has been gone. I am starting fresh this morning. It took 3 hours to get home round trip but we made it. My mom watched Bella while I went and picked him up.

We are meatless today, and despite his illness, hubby still wants to do it, so we are. I have the whole day planned out with... Sun, 26 Jan 2014 04:40:10 EST Update on my Hubby. http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5605044 I am crossing my fingers that the hub can come home today. If so, my mom is standing by to come over and watch Bella while I go. I am nervous to drive that way, because it looks like there is about 4 inches of snow on the ground right now, and it is still snowing.

He looked a lot better yesterday. Prayers are welcomed!

Update as of 10 PM: He has shingles and also has meningitis, as result of the shingles and weakened immunity. He was admitted to the hospital. Going to se... I have a sinus thing complete with green crap coming out of my nose and throat, sore throat started last night and pretty bad headache periodically. My hubby? He may have shingles! He has all the signs, but his blood work came back normal. Not sure. If it isn't shingles, he may have meningitis. Either way, baby and I are both keeping a distance. If it is shingles, it can give her chicken pox, and if it is meningitis, it is potentially deadly... Wed, 22 Jan 2014 06:19:38 EST Never Again! http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5598837 I have totally decided we are never going out again. All I did was want to leave after about 9:30 or so last night, the thing didn't end til 11 and we didn't get home til after midnight because the roads got bad. I was designated driver and the hub drank too much. He is still sleeping, he made a mess in the kitchen which I had to clean for almost an hour this morning. I feel bad because my mom watched the baby and she worked first yesterday and had to stay up too late, plus she worked again t... Isabella was lively this morning! She didn't want to go back to sleep, so she had her breakfast early. I put her down and she slept maybe an hour more, and as I was about to go to sleep, she pops up like toast again. Wide awake, and definitely ready for a bath! She was giggling and cute in the tub this morning. She loved it.

My starting weight for the challenge? 155 pounds. I hate when I don't get enough sleep, because not ... Sat, 18 Jan 2014 11:17:42 EST Winter 5% Challenge. http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5597505 I guess this challenge starts tomorrow. I am sad because tomorrow is my hubby's work party for the holidays (I know, kind of belated!) and it is a buffet. I am going to try and make the best choices. I am so ready to get cracking!

I am in the Spirited Underdogs group. I already feel discouraged, as I keep getting e-mails from the group and it is annoying to even read them. Not to be offensive, and I know my grammar is far from perfect, but all the "DAWG" talk is really irritating.... Fri, 17 Jan 2014 22:42:38 EST ViSalus Day 19/30. http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5597027 I am starting this winter challenge, which I think starts tomorrow. I feel somewhat confused because I can hardly understand the many e-mails I am receiving.

Anyway, yesterday went well food-wise. I am still doing the shakes, although we are going out to dinner tonight with my husband's friend, who is treating us since we took him out a few weeks ago. I wish we weren't. I made a really good roasted chicken last night, it was delicious. I would say it was the best chicken I have ev... Fri, 17 Jan 2014 13:05:31 EST ViSalus Day 18/30. http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5595782 Yesterday went downhill in the last couple of hours. My hubby got out his deep fryer and fried up a bunch of tater tots, onion rings, battered fish, and wouldn't take no for an answer. I asked him if he didn't want me to lose weight.

Oh well. Isabella seems better today. That is all that matters. Took a couple cute photos today...here is one:

Thu, 16 Jan 2014 10:47:44 EST ViSalus Day 17/30. http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5594571 I had Burger King for dinner last night, so not really the plan. We were running errands and then it was after 7 and I still hadn't even gotten home yet, so we got food out. I got some healthy things to eat in between my shakes and dinner last night, so that is good. Nonfat greek yogurts, raw almonds, and some little clementines and bananas. I am still optimistic. I weighed myself and was 156 again today, but I think some of that is sodium-related water retention.

Isabella had a fe... Wed, 15 Jan 2014 10:20:07 EST ViSalus Day 16/30. http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5593504 I am over halfway through my ViSalus challenge. I am maintaining around 153-154 right now. I went off the wagon this weekend, having to work and having my stepson plus a birthday party threw me through a loop. I had blood drawn yesterday, so I will get my cholesterol readings and whatnot here in about a week. Curious about that. Meatless day on Sunday went well. Over my calories last night due to the evil biscuits from Red Lobster which I made here, plus we went out for breakfast at lunch tim... Tue, 14 Jan 2014 11:43:28 EST Update on the Hole. http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5589328 So, went to the doctor this morning. Got in right away, called as soon as they opened. My mom watched the babe so I didn't have to interupt her schedule. It was just from trauma, like me wearing regular pants and starting to exercise, rubbed some skin off and opened it up a bit, it is going to be fine. Just need to put a little bit of gauze on it to keep from being rubbed. What a relief! My dad freaked me out with all his ideas on what it could be. No yeast there, so that is good. Just rubbed... Fri, 10 Jan 2014 14:27:42 EST There is Always Something! http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5588881 This is so tiring. I found this hole-like wound in my c-section scar the other day, it might be yeast growing because my stupid flap is hard to keep dry, but it is freaking me out and it kinda hurts, looks like a hole that is about as deep as a penny is thick and about the diameter of an eraser head on a mechanical pencil. I am SO tired of complications from this delivery! I am too damn huge that I have a big ass skin fold, for one, so if it is yeast that is just unsanitary and annoying! I al...
