Not only is it basically SparkPeople.com (minus the Community and other cool features) but I couldn't Cancel and they charged me 52$! I learned my lesson! While I work with my bank to get my money back I wanted to say ... Sun, 31 Jul 2011 11:48:33 EST These blogs are rather awkward... http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=4347142 I blog now and again through my Blogger, but mainly because there's a mobile way to do so. It's hard to remember to come to Spark, weave through the Community, Sparkpage, then Blog, and hit New blog just to get an entry in.

I thought of dropping a summary, or copy/paste, or even link to my other blog. It still requires the weaving just to get here. I may try to bookmark the url for "new blog" and see if that helps. Would be nice to be able to email a blog in; do they have that func... Thu, 7 Jul 2011 12:41:02 EST "How do you share fitness with your family?" http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=4129517 Spark had a neat forum question up, and I just had to answer it. It made me grin, so I'll save it here.
http://www.sparkpeople.com/myspark/messa
geboard.asp?imboard=6&imparent=23509718

"How do you share fitness with your family?"

I had been a runner in the military but gave it up. My husband (back when he was my boyfriend and he was still in the military) warned me that if I wanted to be HIS girl I was going to have to run (and go to the gym!) We do both now, sha... Wed, 30 Mar 2011 14:53:09 EST Sleep Challenge, Week 2 COMPLETE! http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=4043102 I've always had such a hard time 'waking up' in the morning, driving to school groggy, fumbling through classes, living on caffeine. Since I've gone to bed an hour earlier, to wake up an hour earlier (match hubby's up time, so no more multiple harsh wake ups from his snooze button!), stopped pounding water before bed (no more midnight potty breaks!), and used my new morning time to do 10mins of sun Salutations, I'm way more awake in the mornings. I haven't missed breakfast yet, and while I'm ... Wed, 23 Feb 2011 23:40:32 EST The Spark: Ch02: Cornerstone FOCUS http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=4023787 230 I have a LOT of trouble with focus. I either try to do too many things at once, or I end up with a vague idea of what I want to do/accomplish but no way to get there. Heck, sometimes I have a complete gameplan, and still don't 'know' where to start.

So, focus,
Are these goals for ME, or for someone else? Hmm, the college degree WAS my parent's dream, but has now become mine. The running, was mine, til I gave it up, then it was my husband's for me. I think, I THI... Wed, 16 Feb 2011 21:28:58 EST Reset to Stage 1, and it's a good thing. http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=4022947 Between November 2010 and Feb 2011, I was NOT a very Sparked people. I studied for my finals, stopped running, barely made it to the gym, and gained back all the weight I had lost. My marriage felt very strained, the house was a wreck, and our poor Poop-a-doop (slang for two-year-old black lab Rook) felt the stress and was more restless herself.

I think I made it on once in a while, to hit login points, and plug in this or that food, but I wasn't kidding when November's post was ti... Wed, 16 Feb 2011 14:59:57 EST The Spark: Ch01. MY Story. http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=4015523 411 I, was (am?) Kind of a train wreck. Being the oldest of three I was the Big Sister, the one In Charge. "Yer not the boss, Miss Piggy!" I'm not even sure why my brother called me that, I wasn't heavy. It just irritated me. It's hard to be 'in charge' of a boy only 18 months younger than you. My sister was young enough to be loveable but old enough to be annoying. Still, _I_ was in charge. I got good grades (though my assignments were constantly late). I read like a fiend, for a ... I finished our taxes (my old W2 finally arr... Wed, 9 Feb 2011 19:49:44 EST Backslid to the wall. http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=3792843 After Halloween I was 134.8 lbs... only 0.2 from my personal 'fat weight'. I'd still be healthy, but at 5'3" the Marine Corps considers you a 'Weight Recruit' (in boot camp) at 135. I hit that at the end of MRP, still getting 3-hots, a cot, but no cardio PT. I was put on 'weight ration' which consisted of these funky 'hot plates' pre-portioned for us. They were kind of gross. Sometimes you ate them on purpose, for a change, but most of the time you avoided them. I left boot camp and got back ... Thu, 18 Nov 2010 20:07:07 EST Pennsic Pilgrimage: By MiniGoal http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=2774391 Tidbit from my Blog:
weyrcat.blogspot.com/2010/01/pennsic
-pilgrimage-by-minigoal.htm

Finally sat down with the God-Awful maps to plot the mini goals. I also discovered that I wasn't "walking" to Pennsic by the old route, I was "driving" lol. I'd prefer not to take a carriage 60miles out of the way, so I asked Google to "walk" it for me. 499 miles now. Not bad, a straight line, still following roads, just smaller ones. A bit more Period I think. Had to use sever... Wed, 20 Jan 2010 21:07:22 EST Its like a Rollercoaster... +Pennsic Pilgrimage! http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=2766909 So on the 17th at work I logged 6820 Steps (around a barricade) for 2.55. Grain of salt included. I did this by calculating how many steps it took me to get around said barricade (28avg {28, 27, 39}) and then counted how many times I walked around it. I gifted myself 1 rotation each time I had to process a car (I walk around the car, like its a barricade.) I did not get extra steps for big vehicles, but I didn't take a...
