In this case, it was my buckwheat groats.

My first attempt failed, as I suspected it might; the buckwheat was on the old side. I went to the health food store on Friday and bought more and it's worked out great. Now to roast it up and find my Nourishing Traditions cookbook (yup, still haven't found it) and make yogurt dough for my kasha knishes. I really have a hankering for them. Cep... Mon, 27 Apr 2009 08:35:44 EST Why do I always misplace my copy of Nourishing Traditions? http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=1995411 It gets a wee bit frustrating.

I've got my buckwheat sprouting to make kasha and it just occurred to me this morning that I could make kasha knishes using NT's yogurt dough. Why do I read and post on the regular Diet and Nutrition board? WHY?

It's self torture, plain and simple. A vast majority of the time I'm going to disagree with everyone and everything because most everyone is going to go with the mainstream politically correct rhetoric or else far off in a strange equally incorrect direction. So, it's just stupid to go there...yet I do it.

I disagreed with someone's comment that folate is natural and folic acid is artificial. I wa... Wed, 18 Feb 2009 23:14:15 EST ... http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=1707188 Wow, I've had this account for TWO years and barely used it.

It's 2009 now and I really want to really and truly climb back on the wagon and make some progress. Here's hoping... Fri, 16 Jan 2009 15:36:50 EST
