I also skipped working out and felt slightly guilty about it. I was so cold and tired that all I wanted to do was stay under my blanket on the sofa. I did, however, track and log my food. So I am on a streak with that.

Today I continued that streak and I did both the Day 4 and Day 5 videos for the JJSC. We were home today due to the extremely low temps and wind chill temps. I only ventured out to get my mail and boy was it cold. Bekah and I caugh... Tue, 7 Jan 2014 19:18:10 EST 1/5/2014 http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5583570 All the Christmas decorations are put away for another year. I have sort of reclaimed the living room since there is a bag of Christmas gifts in there that still needs to find homes. The laundry is all done even if it's not put away at least it's folded. Plus I had a much better night's sleep and I tracked my food all day and completed day 3 of JJSC. I did not make it to Zumba this morning compliments of my stuffy head and over-tired eyes. However, I did break a sweat cleaning up the house an... Sun, 5 Jan 2014 21:24:01 EST 1/4/2014 http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5582185 I would say that today was a successful day. Although, I didn't get around to taking down the decorations, planning, or scrapbooking. That would be because I am exhausted thanks to a horrible night's sleep...My brain wouldn't turn off, hate it when that happens. I finally fell asleep around 3am and woke up around 8am. Of course, that means I did make it to Zumba (although I was still a little groggy when I got there).

Today I have:
*Tracked all my food (and still have more cal... Sat, 4 Jan 2014 18:44:02 EST My Goals for 2014 http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5581233 I don't believe in resolutions. I think they are too easily forgotten and avoided. What I do believe in is goals. I also know that the only way to reach your goals is to work for them. I have a plan in mind for how to achieve these goals.

Here Goes....

*Spend more time with my Bekah doing the things we love to do together. Once the weather gets better, get outside for hikes/walks/bike rides.

*Complete the January Jump Start Challenge (already completed day 1)... Fri, 3 Jan 2014 21:07:35 EST Oh My, the year is nearly over! http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5574845 I still can't believe that it will be 2014 in just a few short days! A year ago I was blissfully unaware of all that would happen in the upcoming days. Now, I see the year ahead as the possibility for the best year ever...

I have been to Zumba for the last 2 mornings. I will be back there next Saturday and Sunday (maybe Friday depending on some things). I have not necessarily managed to organize myself this weekend but at least I've had plenty of time to do some thinking and relaxi... Sun, 29 Dec 2013 17:41:18 EST 12/27/13 http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5573312 This holiday week has been a fun one. I loved spending time with family and watching the kids open their presents. Bekah and I have enjoyed spending our days together and she has enjoyed spending her night's at Daddy's house.

For this weekend I am looking forward to being able to go to Zumba both mornings. This is something I have missed the last several weekends because I have had Bekah on weekends since the last weekend in November. I'm not complaining since I will now have 2 we... Fri, 27 Dec 2013 20:15:58 EST It's Been Awhile Since I Blogged... http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5569469 I'm not going to say any of those things that I always say...

I have been enjoying life with my kiddo. I cherish the weekends when I get to have me time and go to Zumba. There haven't been many lately. Our December schedule got messed up so the only Saturday I had free wasn't free. I had already made plans (read paid a bunch of money) to take Bekah and my mom to see How the Grinch Stole Christmas the Musical that Saturday morning. So I spent the time I would have been in Zumba clas... Sat, 21 Dec 2013 19:25:52 EST October 10, 2013 http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5510215 Holy Cow! Life has certainly carried me away.

I am not where I know I should and can be and I have to figure out how to get off the roller coaster and get with the program.

I'll say it...I know what I need to do. I know how to do it. It's a matter of not letting life get in the way of what I know I need to do to make myself happy and healthy.

I feel like I've been on the go go go go with everything I have to do as teacher, mom, etc. I haven't had the chance ... Thu, 10 Oct 2013 21:30:51 EST One Week Later... http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5413711 So we've officially been in the apartment for one week. Well, I've been in the apartment for a week. This is Bekah's 4th night here. She stayed with her father last Saturday and then she spent Wednesday through today with him at her grandparents' cottage. Hopefully she will sleep in her bed again (the 1st night she slept with me and the 3rd night she had a LOT of trouble falling asleep).

It's really beginning to feel like home. I have a lot of knick-knacks out (there are a few I s... Sun, 7 Jul 2013 22:41:18 EST Oh My, Oh My...Our Last Night as a Family Under One Roof... http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5405025 I guess we'll always be a family, at least in my mind and Bekah's. However, tonight is our last night together in the house she has been raised in for the first nearly 8 and a half years of life. She had a crying jag the other night although she is excited about her new bedroom (and the furniture). It is really the bedroom I always wanted for her. Very girly and very her...

We had pizza for dinner and eventually we played a game of Killer Bunnies together. The house is all a jumble... Fri, 28 Jun 2013 22:32:18 EST School is Over and the New Chapter is About to Begin... http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5402932 These first few days of summer vacation have been a whirlwind of activity. Let's start with the craziness of closing up the classroom. When I drove by my school yesterday on my way to pick up Bekah from the sitter I saw that the parking lot has been destroyed. I'm curious as to how it will be changed (it's really been an accident waiting to happen for years).

I closed up the classroom on Friday and then proceeded to pack my camper for a weekend camping getaway (at a campground abou... Wed, 26 Jun 2013 22:18:46 EST A Long and Winding Road... http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5383451 That's what this journey we call life is. It's also what the journey to weight loss and healthy living is. You never really know where life is going to take you.

My life is taking me in a completely different direction than I ever thought it would. In January, my husband told me he wasn't happy and he wanted a divorce. I was kind of blind-sided. He had never mentioned being unhappy but I suppose there were many signs along the way that I didn't pick up on. After about a month, I w... Sun, 9 Jun 2013 14:17:34 EST April 24, 2013 http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5334662 Have you ever noticed how hard it is to get back in to the groove of things? I had great plans but life always seems to get in the way. I'm not making excuses...I control my choices just like I always tell my students. The only person that controls my choices is me.

Anyway, I haven't gained any more but I also haven't lost any more. I really want to lose some weight before summer (or at least shift it around and lose some inches). I have clothes that I need to fit into. I can't aff... Wed, 24 Apr 2013 22:01:15 EST 4/10/13 http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5318946 Well, I already messed up my exercise streak and started it over. Not on purpose. Apparently I was tired last night. I went in to snuggle with Bekah at bedtime and next thing I know it's an hour later. Yep, I fell asleep right with her. I have done my workout for today. I did an ST video. Tomorrow will be Zumba and maybe an arm video.

As for food tracking, well I'm doing it. However, I have been over my calories for 3 days. I'm okay with that because I am tracking instead of just s... Wed, 10 Apr 2013 21:45:16 EST 4/8/13 http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5316495 So I changed my "other goals" to include tracking my food all day. This is where I have "fallen off the wagon" for lack of a better way of saying it. Or perhaps...gone astray. I know it works and I know that when I tracked and when I get in activity (including ST) I see results. So I am on day 2 of a food tracking streak and day 3 of an activity streak. My intent/plan/goal is to continue that streak. I can do it, I've done it before. I just need to form those habits again.

I need t... I need to find that motivation again and get moving on the food front and the ST front. Oh, and getting in cardio on days when I don't Zumba.

Spring Break starts on Friday and I suppose that is as good a time as any to get back on the bandwagon. I haven't completely given up my good habits. However, I've let a few bad habits squeaking their way back into my life again... Wed, 27 Mar 2013 22:09:06 EST Challenge Day 9 http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5201182 I skipped my blog yesterday because there was a lot of real live conversation going on so I didn't get to it. Along with Bekah's Brownie troop meeting, I just ran out of time.

Met almost all my goals yesterday. I didn't get in a workout. It irritated me, but I know I'm good to go for the next 4 days (including today).

Today, I did meet all my goals. I went to Zumba after school, I built some lego buildings with the kiddo, tracked and ate right.

Tomorrow's Pla... Thu, 10 Jan 2013 21:14:24 EST Challenge Day 7 http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5197737 Just a quick one tonight since I am tired and not feeling terrific although I still need a workout... I think I need to eat something other than a salad for lunch tomorrow. I don't know what though, I suppose I'll have to really think it through...

I was so proud of myself at my parents' house tonight. I was able to look past all of the yummy treats that were there. It didn't even really bother me to eat a different dinner than everyone else. I brought 2 eggs with me and scrambled ... Tue, 8 Jan 2013 21:26:25 EST Challenge Day 6 http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5195898 Day 6 is done and I am continuing to be successful. I am weighing and tracking everything and I am fighting the temptations around me. In fact, a student brought in cupcakes for his/her birthday in my friend's class AND I was not tempted at all by them. Now, I'm not certain that I can say the same about a slice of pizza. But, I know I can do this. It's what is best for my body at the moment.

Tomorrow should be interesting though because it is dinner night at my parents' house. They... Mon, 7 Jan 2013 21:52:09 EST Challenge Day 5 http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5193870 Okey Dokey...Day 5 is done and in the books...Only 5 more and I can eat potatoes and dairy products again...WooHoo!

Enough of that...Another successful food day plus I did both Zumba and a 10 minute lower body ST video. If course the video was done at 6:30 in the morning on a Sunday because I couldn't get back to sleep at 4:30am! (UGH!) Hoping I can sleep tonight and stay asleep all night. My plan is to go to bed at 10 and get to sleep as quick as I can.

Today's oatmeal... Sun, 6 Jan 2013 21:22:43 EST Challenge Day 4 http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5192248 Another successful food day. We went grocery shopping and I was able to pass up the soda at lunch. I had sushi (brown rice veggie roll). Our shopping trip took a little longer than usual as we were looking at all the labels and checking everything out to make the best choices.

I started my day with Zumba...really the best way to start the day. Plus, I actually ate real food for breakfast. Since it's day 4, I'm done with the fiber drink until day 8 and I got to eat oatmeal and mixed... Sat, 5 Jan 2013 21:41:55 EST Challenge Day 3 http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5190584 Another successful day with food. Our technology teacher orders pizza every Friday and I was actually in his room with my kids when he placed the order. Thank heavens it never made it back to his room while I was there (I LOVE pizza...such cheesy, yummy goodness). I obviously would have passed on it but the smell would have been torture.

My dinner was so so. I wasn't feeling it tonight and I think part of the problem was that the rice wasn't quite cooked enough. I also seem to be f... Fri, 4 Jan 2013 20:16:42 EST Challenge Day 2 http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5189021 I really am quite proud of myself. I have looked temptation in the face numerous times over the last 2 days and each time I have laughed at it. Okay, not really but you get the picture. Old habits are being changed as I type. I have looked at the m&m dispenser on the mantle in my classroom (Yes, there's a fireplace there. It doesn't work but my classroom is the one remaining true old school room in our building. I think it gives it character.) and I have walked by it, knowing that I need to s... Thu, 3 Jan 2013 21:52:15 EST Challenge Day 1 http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5187133 So today went very well. I had no troubles sticking to the food choices I planned out for my day. I also had no trouble getting in my exercise, both cardio and ST (abs). Although I apparently need to either buy a new exercise ball or somehow track down the missing nozzle so I can add air to the one I have. But I've often wondered if I truly have the right size ball to start with....but I digress...

I was nervous about the challenge because of two reasons. Most importantly I don't d... Tue, 1 Jan 2013 18:19:06 EST December 30, 2012 http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5181426 Well, it is hard to believe but 2012 is rapidly coming to a close.

I did not meet my goals in 2012 and I could beat myself up over it but I won't. I figure it's a learning experience and it's life. It's done and that's it. I can't go back and change anything I did BUT I can make the choice to learn from experience and move on making the best choices I can.

In 3 days time I will be trying something new and different for me. It has worked as a jump start for several frien... Sun, 30 Dec 2012 21:37:15 EST Thanksgiving Cruise Part 3 (with more pictures) http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5179261 I know it's been a bit since our cruise (like a month at this point). Life sure got in the way between Christmas shopping and all the teaching, I ran out of time for blogging. I am anticipating getting back into it as I ease into the new year.

Anyway, the rest of the cruise was just as amazing as the first few days. We were able to get plenty of use out of pool. This is a picture of the reflection of the kids' area in the windows of the Windjammer Cafe: <img src="http://photos-ak.... Fri, 28 Dec 2012 21:20:13 EST Thanksgiving Cruise Part 2 (with even more pictures) http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5152105 So, on day 2 of our cruise we woke up to find ourselves easing our way into the port in Nassau, Bahamas. We were up early (since we had to be off the ship for our excursion at 7:30) and ready to explore Atlantis Resort and Aquaventure. Here are the hubby and kiddo watching the sunrise on our balcony:
Atlantis was utterly amazing! The resort seemed to go on and on and on. Here is one of the many glass sculptures we saw ... Fri, 30 Nov 2012 22:39:37 EST Thanksgiving Cruise Part 1 (with pictures) http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5147641 Not sure how many blogs it will take to tell all about the cruise so I figured I'd label them in parts. To start off, for those who may not have read my blogs before, my in-laws have been married for 50 years this year. To celebrate their anniversary, they chose to take the whole family on a cruise (the hubby, me, and Bekah and SIL, BIL, and our nephew and niece along with themselves). We paid for our airfare, excursions, and whatever we bought on the cruise. It was a pretty amazing, once in ... Mon, 26 Nov 2012 21:08:36 EST OMG...Cruise Time Is Nearly Here!!!! http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5134601 I can hardly believe that the cruise we have been family with the hubby's family for 2 years is almost here! We fly to Fort Lauderdale on Friday and then we embark on Saturday for Bahamas, St. Maarten, and St. Thomas on the Oasis of the Seas.

This will be Bekah's first cruise and her cousins' first cruise as well. Her cousins are 7 and 9 (Jenna the 7 year old is just 2 days older than Bekah). I am fairly sure it's my BIL and SIL's first cruise as well. My MIL and FIL have been on 2... Tue, 13 Nov 2012 22:13:39 EST October 9, 2012 http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5093311 So for a Tuesday that felt like a Monday, today was pretty darn good. My students were well-behaved with no major (or really minor) incidents. Parent conference night went well. Bekah had a green day.

Plus, I tracked all my food and was within range. I drank my water (and then some). I took a 10 minute walk this morning.

So, I am going to take myself to bed earlier tonight (went to bed VERY late last night) and play on the iPad until I feel like it's time to sleep.
... Tue, 9 Oct 2012 22:15:58 EST A Lovely Fall Day http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5092028 That's what today was. The air was crisp and cool and the leaves are turning the beautiful colors of Autumn. Since we had off today, Bekah and I slept in until around 8:30. It was so lovely. Then we went to pick up my mom so we could spend the day together. We went to an historical village/museum (think Plimoth Plantation and Williamsburg). The homes are from the late 1700s to the 1800s (right up until the Civil War and antebellum era). The interpreters are wonderful and we just love walking ... Mon, 8 Oct 2012 22:58:09 EST October 7, 2012 http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5090579 I am actually writing this blog on my school iPad while laying in bed. I decided that I really need to get back to blogging and this is where I am and what I have with me. I think I am doing fairly well typing this. It's much easier than typing in my phone so that's a plus. LOL

Anyway, I have gotten off track with food again. It's the age old I know what I need to do (track) so why don't I just do it. I could make a list of excuses a mile long but that won't help anything. My wate... Sun, 7 Oct 2012 22:16:49 EST 8/7/12 http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5005822 I don't know what I was thinking signing up for an 8:30am workshop during summer break. I so did not want to get out of bed when the alarm went off this morning at 6:30am. I was cursing myself until about halfway through my shower when I actually woke up. LOL I just kept telling myself that it would all be worth it when I walked out of the PD with an iPad. And it really was, plus I got to see 4 of my colleagues. Tonight I let Bekah play with the apps that we downloaded today. So far she appro... Tue, 7 Aug 2012 22:03:33 EST 8/6/12 http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5004199 So today was a much better day for my kiddo. I watched my friend's 3 kids this morning while she helped clean up the gym (long story, she was supposed to workout but the gym was flooded so she offered to help with clean up instead). Bekah loved having them here to play with until almost lunchtime. Then after dinner I took her to dance class. She was supposed to sit and watch but she ended up trying to do the dance steps as best she could on one foot while holding onto her chair. LOL
<BR... Mon, 6 Aug 2012 22:00:17 EST 8/5/12~ Feeling Bad for My Kiddo http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5002573 It's really not fair...yeah, I know, life's not fair...but my kiddo is such an active kid. She loves to be outside running around, riding her bike, swinging on the swings, and swimming. She loves to dance, anywhere, any time. And in a moment (on that seesaw when her cousin jumped off), that was taken away from her for pretty much the rest of the summer. I know, she goes back for an x-ray on the 14th. Maybe the cast will come off then. Maybe she'll get a walking cast at that point and she'll b... Sun, 5 Aug 2012 21:48:29 EST 8/4/12 http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5001278 I started my day in my favorite way...with some Zumba love. I love the way I feel when I've finished a Zumba class. No matter how tired I may feel during class and how glad I am that it's done, I still wish there was more and still have that "It's done already" feeling.

I had a SP friend ask if I had the dvds for home since I was lamenting that tomorrow is it for 2 weeks since the instructors I love are heading to convention. Well, I have the wii game and while it's ok, it's just ... Sat, 4 Aug 2012 22:07:59 EST 8/3/12 http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5000100 I am oh so tired this evening. I plan to head to bed when I am done here. I ate pretty well today and I got in my water. I even got out of the house and went to Target this evening all by myself. I didn't get in an official workout. Luckily, the next 2 days will make up for it with my 2 mornings of Zumba. Sadly, I think that will be it for Zumba for 2 weeks. All my Zumba instructors (including the subs I like) are going to the instructor convention in Orlando next week and weekend.
<BR... Fri, 3 Aug 2012 22:13:30 EST 8/2/12 (with some vacation pics) http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=4998492 Today was quite the adventure. We started the day with Bekah's shower. Had to put the shower bag over her cast, seat her on a chair in the shower, wash, rinse, and then get her out, dry her, and get the bag off without getting the cast wet. It all turned out all right but I'm pretty sure it was quite amusing. Then we headed to the town hall and my first experience with getting the wheelchair out was comical too, I'm sure. I had a nail appointment and then we headed to the mall for lunch and s... Thu, 2 Aug 2012 19:26:33 EST 8/1/12 http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=4997147 Okay so today was a pretty fun day. Bekah spent it with grandma and papa and Mommy spent it with other teachers learning some pretty cool stuff about cooking in the 1800s, specifically about making cheese. We even got to sample some food and that's something that's not allowed except, apparently, when one is taking a class there.

Bekah is doing pretty well with the cast. She slept straight through last night and hasn't asked for any pain medicine. She's also becoming a pro with the... Wed, 1 Aug 2012 22:17:29 EST 7/31/12 http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=4995448 Wow, it's been more than a month since I last blogged. It's been a crazy summer so far. My Zumba instructor took a 2 week vacation which made getting to Zumba a challenge adding to that, I was away every weekend in July PLUS the last 2 weeks. We got back and all I could think about was getting to Zumba on Sunday. Plus I kept thinking of how it would be nice to get back into a workout routine. I rode my bike daily while we were camping but nothing as strenuous as Zumba.

Well, things... Tue, 31 Jul 2012 22:04:17 EST Monday, 6/25 http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=4942460 Today was a splendid day. While summer vacation started on the 22nd at around 1pm when I signed out of school for the summer, today is truly the first day since it was the first day I didn't have to get up with an alarm (that wasn't the weekend). I made the most of my day and did some housework, shopping, relaxing, biking, ST video-ing, and enjoying the fact that Bekah had neighborhood kids to play with.

Food wise I did pretty well. Not perfect but much better than the last few day... Mon, 25 Jun 2012 23:06:12 EST Wednesday, 6/20 http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=4935357 I am not sure that it could possibly get more hot and humid here than it was today. It was nearly unbearable. We took our classes to an amusement park today and I was dripping sweat and sweating in places I didn't know I could sweat. I felt like had just finished a Zumba class most of the day because of the sweat. LOL

Anyway, it was a fun day albeit hot. The kids had fun and I had fun watching them have fun. Plus, my neck/shoulder is feeling better. I did go to the doctor yesterday... Wed, 20 Jun 2012 21:26:08 EST Tuesday, 6/19 http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=4932582 Well it's finally here, Bekah's last day of 1st grade. I am not entirely sure how this happened, I mean, didn't I just bring her home from the hospital? LOL Anyway, she gets out at 11am. I, on the other hand, have 2 more days left after today. So I will leave school at 10:45, pick her up, and bring her back to school with me. She is more excited to come to school with me (yes, she will spend the first 2 and a half days of her summer vacay with my class) than summer vacay (at least it seems th... Tue, 19 Jun 2012 06:04:22 EST Thursday, 6/14 http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=4926920 Today was a decent day. Food was good, ST video, walk, and Zumba is done. I re-organized my storage closet and my word study folders in prep for next year.

Bekah was tested by her teacher for reading level the other day. So I asked her teacher what level she was reading at. I had an idea but I was curious as to what her testing showed. I was right, she's a level M which is the beginning of 3rd grade. I am so proud of her (she's only in 1st grade).

Tomorrow is Field Day ... Thu, 14 Jun 2012 21:30:39 EST Wednesday, 6/13 http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=4925485 It is harder to make time/remember to blog than I thought it would be! It's been busy around here. I have been working on report cards and finished them this afternoon. I also started organizing/packing/purging in my classroom as we get ready to pack up for the year. Our last day with kids is next Thursday and we have to be there on Friday.

Food is what I need to revamp. I've got the ST and cardio down at this point. Now I need to get the food figured out. Strangely, I think having... Wed, 13 Jun 2012 22:05:20 EST Sunday, 6/10 http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=4920650 We got home late last night and we were gone from 12:30 on. Busy Busy day yesterday. We had 2 parties and I did so so with the food choices. Although once I removed myself from the area where the food was located I did much better. I did NOT get a workout in yesterday because I totally overslept. I woke up 10 minutes before Zumba started. Apparently I needed sleep.

TODAY...Food choices were pretty good. Not perfect, but good enough. I started the day with some Zumba. I opted to wai... Sun, 10 Jun 2012 20:53:16 EST Friday, 6/8 http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=4918365 Oh Friday how I love thee...especially since there is only one more left of the school year.

Anyway, I'm going to be quick. I did the ST video this morning (abs) and I certainly feel it now. We went to the carnival this evening and I think I made good food choices at dinner. I chose broiled scallops (large ones and plenty of them and they didn't taste drowned in butter), baked sweet potato (plain and not very big either), and a side salad (with poppyseed on the side). It was yummy ... Fri, 8 Jun 2012 23:09:40 EST Thursday, 6/7 http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=4916908 Two weeks from now I will have sent my munchkins on to 2nd grade (well, all but 1 of them). The only thing left to end the school year at that point will be to clean up the classroom and pass on cumulative records and portfolios.

The two weeks in between however will be a whirlwind of activity. There are report cards to be filled out and comments to be written. Portfolios to complete and papers to organize and send home. Materials to be cleaned up and stored away. And many many mor... Thu, 7 Jun 2012 21:49:45 EST Wednesday, 6/6 http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=4915469 I didn't want to do it but I made myself and I feel better for it. What am I talking about? Lower body ST video My plan was to repeat it this evening (did it this AM when I got up) and I so did not want to do it. But I still did it. 244 me!

Food was better today than yesterday. Not as much need for snacking. I plan for tomorrow to be even better. I was even good for snack tonight. I made the banana ice cream. I blended it with a splash of almond milk and a spoonful of pe... Wed, 6 Jun 2012 22:07:23 EST
