Beginning last week and so far this week, I've been working on Nicole's "NO REST DAYS" fitness plan. I printed out the plan when she presented it on the 17th and have been following it each day, using her videos (when I can get my computer to work!), the myriad of online demos, and walking my dog Patches for part of the cardio. He knows I want to lose weight, yet he brings me "treats," my favorite ice cream or peanut butter cups. Becky helped me today with her "Just say no." I'm thinking the next time he does that, I'll say to him, "If I have some of that ice cream or peanut butter cup, will you go for a walk with me to help counteract those calories?" Doing well with the food and just finished a brisk 37 min. walk, including 2 STEEP hills with my Australian Shepherd, who also is benefiting from our daily ( I hope) walks.
