My weight had climbed to 240 and was showing no signs of slowing down. I've lost and gained. Got down to 220 at one point and could almost taste getting to below 200 but didn't make it. One of the Whole30 rules is no tracking food or weight. It really is hard to not step on the scale, easy as pie to not record food. I originally did the Whole30 with a friend because her doctor recommended it and I needed something to get my diet back to something approaching normal. After chemo (no appetite and struggling to eat 1000 calories a day) and then radiation (nutritionist wanted me to eat at least 2000 calories... My garden has herbs (chives, parsley, basil, thyme, and rosemary), tomato plants and bean plants. With flowers to fill in. We usually only plant a couple of tomato plants because once they go into full production mode its hard to keep up. It does give me a reason to be outside in the garden although the thunder storms have messed with some of those plans. School has finally ended. The girls are finally signed up for all the requisite summer things. Except I still need to sign the oldest up for driving school. You would think I would get more steps in running up and down stairs putting things away and getting serving plates out of storage but that isn't the case.
