I wiped down all the cupboards and woodwork. Cleaned and sanitized the sink and ceramic floor. The washing machine quit on me this past weekend, but the repairman found a sock in the system that was blocking the water pump. I threw out two full garbage bags! There really wasn't much to donate - sadly, we had a lot of expired foods and wasted money in our cupboards. But's that gone now and we can start fresh! There are a still a few not-so-healthy foods lurking, but I'm in a better mind-set now to use them in more healthy ways. So I needed to stop for fast food this evening with my son. We stopped at Wendy's and I thought I was making relatively healthy choices. I had no idea that a small chocolate Frosty was so high in calories!!! It was 99 degrees and felt like 108 with the humidity and a dew point of 75 so I wanted something to cool me down. But wow - that was not worth it! It was 300 calories. I ordered two different chicken wraps - one was decent and the other was way higher in calories, etc. I didn't find any ... Fri, 6 Jul 2012 22:03:47 EST Making a good effort... Well, I finally got back on the treadmill today - and it felt good! I was very good about my eating and tracking until supper time. I ate some leftovers from Ihop and I'm quite certain that filled my quota of fat for the day. I probably ate too much at dinner, but I am not throwing in the towel on my day. I finished my water for the day and have resisted the urge to snack this evening. Tomorrow's another day - and I'm looking forward to doing some more exercise! I know my eating won't be perf... I haven't been there in a looong time. I felt slightly sluggish and really out of shape. BUT, I am being patient with myself so that I can remain consistant. We all have to start somewhere, right? Wed, 4 Nov 2009 17:45:46 EST afternoon snacking I got myself through the afternoon bewitching hour - when I just want to sit and open a bag of something and snack away. I was chilly, so I got up and made a single cup of hot cocoa. It may have been a cup of empty calories, but it satisfied my need to consume, gave me a quick little chocolate fix, the warmth soothed me - and it was only 120 calories.
