The goal was to lose 10 lbs per month starting at the beginning of the year. If I was on the ball...I would be in the teens right about now...but no..I'm still in the 30's. Oh well. The milk is spilled...Time to sit the cup up right. I can't even say how long I've been on induction to be honest...I do know that I was in Ketosis as of... Sat, 20 Apr 2013 19:23:18 EST 3rd round of induction - Day 2 I started pigging out on Monday. I ate sweets until i went to bed. Delicious. Tuesday i weighed in at 131.7. This morning i weighed in at 130. Something. I figure if i lose another 9 lbs i will meet my goal of 124 within this round of induction. The decision to pig out and restart was because my weightloss stalled at 129.4 for several days. I am restarting but the plan is to keep my calories high one day and then low the next. I was feeling very tired yesteday. I went to be early and even slept the entire night. I did not feel as tired but I could tell something was not quiet right. I ended up making a trip to HEB and purchased the value pack of Atkins Shake and some Powerade Zero. The Shakes have vitamins, minerals and potassium and so does the Powerade among other things. I have not eaten a decent amount of food for any meals this week. I need to get a full days worth of eating tomorrow. I need to strive for 1200 calories and 20 carbs. I was 138. I have to say that I did good watching what I ate. I kind of overloaded on carbs a day or so and then cut back and I pretty much kept my weight at 135 until I started going out to eat every day at work with my friend Mary. lol Good old Mary...remember her with the McDonalds while I was eating pork Yes, Mary. It started off with that roll of going out to eat after church, then it was the Super Bowl party, Valentines day...blah blah...yeah I just said the heck with it. I gained about 3 lbs from the the day I stopped the atkins to the time I restarted. I feel good about that. Mon, 21 Jan 2013 16:26:06 EST Day 15 & Day 16 - Saturday & Sunday Weighed in 131.7 My weight at the end of of Induction was 131.7. I felt good I lost 7.3 lbs. Saturday I did include some cashew nuts and I was still in ketosis. Sunday morning I weighed in at 131.7. It was one of my friends at church's birthday and they wanted to take her out to Texas Roadhouse Cafe...I was all set to get the bbq chicken and green beans but lo and behold when I got there that bread was just to good looking so I indulged and I mean I really indulged but not bad. I don't think I'm going to make my goal of 129 but I'm happy where I am. The final total weightloss result will not be in until tomorrow morning. I lost 3 lbs this week. I am thinking that 3 lbs a week will be the norm until something changes or hopefully it will be the norm. If so, I will gladly take it. Fri, 18 Jan 2013 18:42:25 EST Day 9 Well I am done with the day and I only ate 787 calories. My water was lower than normal but I'll make up for it. I still drank about 40 oz of water plus about 20 oz of powerade. Hopefully that does not stall my weightloss. I'll see. I wanted to see how my weightloss varies from the morning to night time. I googled it and someone posted that they did yoga to relieve the discomfort. So, I did some basic poses and it relieved the pain enough for me to go to sleep. I woke up on day 3 with a few stray pains but for the most part okay. I arrived at work and began to have a slight headache.
