Thu, 31 Aug 2017 14:15:49 EST Day 21 of my Spark Tracking Streak Good Sunday Morning Kids!

So I have been diligently tracking my food for 21 days with the proviso that I DID NOT have to stay within my calorie and nutrition ranges, I just had to track.

I have to take this one step at a time.

I have tracked the good, the bad and the ugly for 21 days so it is a solid habit that I still don't love, but I don't hate so much either.

I'm pretty shocked by how quickly I can blow my calorie budget if I don't make health... Sun, 22 Jan 2017 07:44:35 EST Day 9 of Spark Tracking Streak I'm in Florida for the week! My middle daughter is interested in transferring to a new college and there are some options here in Florida we will see over the next week.

Had to do some guessing on my tracking yesterday.

Tracked the egg white sandwich and coffee I started off with at the airport and ended with tracking the very best Ceviche I had ever had along with and other delicacies I experienced at a Peruvian Restaurant in Miami.

Tracked the bites of chee... Mon, 9 Jan 2017 09:09:37 EST Day 5 of tracking streak So I'm being super strict about tracking.

All my food. No judgement as to "good" and "bad."

If I eat it I track it.

I'm not doing any "cleanses", not opting out of entire categories of food, I'm just eating reasonable meals of whatever is on hand, tracking it and moving on.

Oh, and staying (mostly) within my macros.

I'm super proud of myself! I had to "eyeball" and "quick track" and "guess" for some things, but the point is this much ne... Thu, 5 Jan 2017 16:46:57 EST Day 2 of tracking complete. On to Day 3...

Day 2 and I'm waking up energized and hungry. Can't remember the last time I woke up hungry LOL.

I did not do anything miraculous yesterday. I just ate regular food, leftovers mostly, and TRACKED. Tracked every bite and stayed within my nutritional ranges.

Yeah me.

My goal is to track everything again. Just for today.

What Streak are you worki... Tue, 3 Jan 2017 06:29:41 EST Happy New Year!! There is nothing cliche about starting a "diet" January, right? 20

But I'm not starting a diet, I'm starting a Streak.

My only goal which I will fixate on with single minded ferocity will be to track my food.

I simply need to bow down to the absolute reality in that this is the ONLY way I will lose the weight I have gained over the last two years.

I don't even care if I stay within my nutritional ranges. For right now it is just to tr... And I've found the subject of veganism to be one of the most incendiary.

Give up smoking or alcohol, everyone claps their hands on your back and congratulates you.

Give up animal products...not so much.

In fact, the only reason I'm writing about it here is that I'm loathe to tell my real family, so know that I am trusting that my Spark peeps will be gentle with me. I'm coming out of the closet so to speak.
... Fri, 8 Jan 2016 11:55:14 EST Operation Let's NOT gain weight for the holidays... Well long and short of it is: nothing gained, nothing lost.

So, goal met. Time to step it up so to speak.

Got a FitBit recently, and just figured out how to link it to Spark.

Here is the link to the Blog giving instructions on how to do that in case you are interested:

urnal_individual.asp?blog_id=5100045

Let me know if you want to be a FitBit Friend :)

Send request to:... Wed, 30 Dec 2015 07:14:38 EST Sometimes you just need to do what you can. So I have a fibrous growth at the bottom of my foot and it feels like I'm walking on a pebble.

A large, very hard pebble.

Truth be told, it's been there for a while. Say 3 months.

But minor discomfort has bloomed into full blown pain and near incapacitation in terms of mobility.

And it's "that time" of the year.

The time that everyone brings out the refined sugar and flour cookies, rich drinks, heavy meats and cheeses, traditional fare ...
