Cooke the highest point in the Darling Range! The view was overwhelming. Lots of granite and hills. Our campsite is in Mt Wells where we get to sleep in beds. Darn, I was just getting use to seeing the night sky and stars! <BR> <BR> I think I'm settling in and getting accustom to carrying the backpack and my gear! I did not get to blog about my trip like I wanted to but I have been sightseeing and having fun! Mon, 1 Apr 2013 23:05:12 EST Trying to find out what's wrong with me Some of you know that I was laid off work for quite awhile and that I have had bouts of fatigue and pain. I have not been to the doctor in sometime because I had no insurance. I have not been feeling well since December. Been having chest pains and upper back pains that I have been chalking up as indigestion or sore muscles. Well, I finally went to the doctor Friday and he sent me for an EKG and Chest X-Ray. Every now & then on this journey, when the stress levels go up, loneliness sets in, things just aren't going right, the cravings start! Its almost like an addiction. I have not been feeling well for almost 2 wks now. Can't sleep at night because I'm running to the bathroom. I don't drink soda's just water. I've been trying to drink all my water by 6 pm. I'm up at least 4 - 8 times during the night! In addition, I've been wheezing. I have COPD and allergies. I've been wheezing for awhile now, sneezing everyday, taking benadryl almost daily - that's usual for me. My chest started hurting yesterday...what is this mess? I don't have time for this!! ... So far, I have gotten back on track after gaining 4.8 lbs over Christmas. I have finally landed a job. Yes, I made it! <BR> <BR> My goal this week was to burn 2000 calories! I'm following the Simple Diet and they suggest a goal of 2000 calories burned for the week. After doing some figuring, I found that I was not burning enough calories. It really wasn't as hard as I thought it was going to be. Then after dinner, I accidentally slammed my foot into the molding! I think I broke my toe, it hurts really bad. I'll put some ice on it and stay off of it until tomorrow. I've broken my baby toe before and all they did was tape it to the next toe.
