Wed, 30 May 2012 00:28:34 EST Busy Bee Today was a totally busy day, work was really crazy, but thats what happens when tax season hits. Only 2 more months of it. Mon, 5 Mar 2012 21:27:56 EST Weekend Moments I don't know what happened, but th calender switched over to march and it was like bam. I am back on track and even keeping track of my food. Fri, 2 Mar 2012 08:37:50 EST 45 Days in, 45 Days to go Today is day 45 of 90 in the challenge I am in. That means I have made it to the halfway point. Yay! It has been an interesting 45 days. At some points I want to quit, at others I do really well. Yesterday, I made a PR. It was a 95lb 1 rep thruster. It was awesome. Now, I want to break a 100lbs. Crossfit wise I am doing pretty good. I thought I would like the rowing more but it was harder then it looks. We learned some new exercises and practice alot of form with deadlifts, front squat, and presses. I had only done a deadlift with a kettleball so doing it will a bar was very different for me. As many of you know I have been looking for a cheaper option for strength training then the personal training that I currently do. So, last night I started a beginner Crossfit class. Tuesday I ran during lunch, did a few ST exercises and hit the elliptical. Today, I went to Crossfit and did a simple workout in 2:15. I lose 7 pounds, exercised for 1185 minutes, and lost at least an inch around my waist. More importantly, I made my health a bigger priority then it currently was. Before I joined sparkpeople, I was trying to lose weight, you know get down to a better size. I was working out twice a week with a trainer and eye balling my food. I totally did a happy dance in my cube at work. The relief was unbelievable. I was so worried that something was wrong, but I am perfectly normal in that regard. On the same note the edema in my feet has almost gone away. Today I was totally rocking the slippers and my right foot didn't swell at all. My left only a little bit. I have been going all at it for the last couple of weeks and was starting to feel rundown. I feel alot better now. Tue, 19 Jul 2011 19:48:14 EST Rough Day I had today all planned out, but things don't always go according to plan. I went to my strength training session with my trainer and things we going good. Then we did calf curls and my feet started to swell. Following my doctors orders I had to stop working out and elevate my feet. So I spent the last five minutes of my session on the table with my feet elevated higher then my heart. I had a great day today. I rode 8 miles today on my bike. I also spent a ton of time playing Fable 2 and I finally beat the game. Today was basically a day of rest for me. Sun, 17 Jul 2011 22:23:01 EST On my bike again...48 miles racked up. Woah, it has been an intense start of the weekend. Friday night I met up with a lady cycling group and we went on a 28 miles ride. It was a pretty slow pace but an awesome ride. Talk about burning some calories. We left at 8:45 pm and I didn't get back until 1:30 in the morning. Then I rode out to the farmers market this morning, which is about 9 miles round trip. My weight bounces between a three pound range and today it was the lowest it has been in ages. A nice even 194 was great to see. I try to only weigh myself on Sundays and Wednesdays.
