Yay, me! http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5761399 This has been a HARD week emotionally and I did soothe myself with food some days. Not good, I know.

Tuesday, our precious 13 year old cat passed away -- in the waiting room at the veterinarian's office, of all places! She seemed to have contracted what we thought was a cold that had turned into a sinus infection. I finally decided we needed to get treatment after about day 4 of the symptoms that just weren't improving. She passed away in my 15 year old daughter's arms as I was... Sun, 17 Aug 2014 11:45:16 EST Not much change http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5756812 Looks like I'm up .2 lb this week. Since I still have both my ovaries, I suspect it's just that part of my cycle messing things up. No worries! I'm going to keep on keeping on! :)

Wednesday will be 6 weeks from my surgery date. Treadmill, here I come!! I can't wait!! I've dearly missed my treadmill workouts. Now if only the cool Fall weather would hurry up and get here, I'd gladly earn Activity Points with some yard work.

Have a fantastic week, Spark buddies! :) Sun, 10 Aug 2014 10:25:27 EST Down another 2.6 lbs for a whopping total of 61 lbs gone so far! :) http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5752155 Another great weight loss week! I lost 2.6 lbs this week. So far, I've lost 61 lbs and have 36.4 more lbs to go to reach my goal of 150 lbs. This just might happen! LOL

I was concerned I wouldn't be able to maintain my healthy eating habits due to the stress of the divorce. I figured I'd go to stress eating. Turns out, the opposite has happened. I'm not hungry at all and have to force myself to eat. So, I'm hitting those healthy checks each day and trying my best. I think... Sun, 3 Aug 2014 10:02:51 EST Goodbye 2.6 more pounds and hello upcoming school year http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5747431 I'm down 2.6 lbs for today's weigh in. Yay me! Still no exercise allowed, but I'm concentrating on those Healthy Checks and looking forward to getting on my treadmill as soon as I'm 6 weeks out from surgery.

My youngest daughter has asked to go back to public school this year. I guess now that her kidney problems are resolved and her food issues are figured out, she's got more energy than she knows what to do with! Praise God! So it looks like I'll have a Junior in college, a ... Sun, 27 Jul 2014 10:25:40 EST Surprises, both good and bad http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5742624 It's been a fantastic Weight Watchers kind of week! AND I was down 6.2 lbs this morning for my weigh in!! Now that's a good surprise! There must have been some residual swelling from surgery I lost this week, because I didn't pick up any extra activity or work the program any different than I always do. I just stayed within my points and got in those healthy checks (minus the exercise one). Sadly, the surgeon said absolutely no treadmill or lifting over 10 lbs until I'm 6 weeks out from ... Sun, 20 Jul 2014 10:10:06 EST Computer is fixed and hysterectomy is over! :) http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5737906 It's so nice to have my desktop back!! I don't mind reading on my smaller devices, but I definitely prefer a keyboard for lots of typing!

The hysterectomy went off without a glitch. They were able to do it laproscopically and I got to keep both my ovaries. Even waking from anesthesia wasn't that bad this time!! And recovery has been FAST. I even went on a vacation a week later that had us mostly walking!! I wonder when I can get back on my treadmill. I've got a two week appo... Sun, 13 Jul 2014 12:52:39 EST Goodbye weight; Hello Healthy Checks! Surgery Wednesday http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5728327 I've lost another 2.2 lbs since my entry two weeks ago. Yay! :) Slowly but surely is the name of this game! But that's ok. I've never felt more in control of my eating habits in my life. I don't crave unhealthy food anymore and am totally in love with this healthy lifestyle.

Funny thing happened when I went to focusing on my Healthy Checks, though. Now, I have a hard time getting in all my Daily Points! I remember when I first started WW Online about 10 months ago and starte... Sun, 29 Jun 2014 12:16:52 EST Finally in ONEderland!!! http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5718435 Finally! After hitting a plateau that was driving me bonkers, I've made it to ONEderland!! My scale read 199.4 for this morning's weigh in!!! I haven't seen that number for over 15 years!!!

I'm still sticking true to Weight Watchers Online and absolutely LOVE it. They may get my $18.95 a month for the rest of my life, I love it so much. I'm up to 30 minutes on my treadmill about 5 days a week. And the Healthy Checks are so, so easy to hit -- even the oil check, now that it's ... Sun, 15 Jun 2014 12:24:28 EST Computer problems, but I'm still here! http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5709325 My computer had a bit of a programming meltdown Saturday morning, so I haven't been able to do much since Friday night. I'm still here, just not posting much. It's inconvenient to type out much on my phone, so I'm just reading. Weight Watchers buddies, you guys rock!!!! Keep up the good work!!

My weight has been all over the place. Two weigh ins ago, my body started doing a bloating & constipation cycle that had me up to 207.8. I seem to be back on a downhill, though, and was... Mon, 2 Jun 2014 22:44:33 EST Visitors, Memorial Day, and Happy Birthday To Me!! :) http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5704150 WHAT. A. WEEKEND.

I purposely went off my diet Friday. I ate what I wanted to eat, made better decisions than I would have pre-WW, and thoroughly enjoyed my out-of-town company here to celebrate my birthday. I didn't track a thing and totally enjoyed myself.

Want to know what else I'm enjoying? Getting back to my WW lifestyle today!! Plus, I bought a treadmill this weekend. Yay!!!! I'm going to start off with 20 minutes, 5 days a week and work up from there.
... Tue, 27 May 2014 08:29:26 EST Up 2.6 lbs http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5697607 I'm up 2.6 lbs. Since I was absolutely within my points every single day last week, I have nothing else to blame but my weird, freaked out hormonal problems. :(

I seriously doubt I'll make below 200 lbs by my birthday next week as I had hoped. :( Sun, 18 May 2014 11:02:19 EST Happy Mother's Day! http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5692579 Down another 3.4 lbs! Yay!! I know with my weird weight gain last weigh in, that not all of that fat came off this last week. It's just so nice to see my efforts in numbers!

Happy Mother's Day, everybody!! Sun, 11 May 2014 11:20:05 EST Up a pound. Grrr ... http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5687092 I'm up a full pound over last week's weigh in despite being faithful to the program. So annoying!! But since there's no logical FOOD INTAKE reason for this to have happened, I'm going to keep on keepin' on and ignore it.

I experienced hot flashes for the first time last night. Wow, those aren't fun. Perimenopause is a definite pain in the butt!! I wonder if crazy hormones are to blame for the extra pound this week.

I'm starting to get a little worried about my goal ... Sun, 4 May 2014 10:50:21 EST 42 lbs gone and a whole bunch more to go ... I can do this!! http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5681489 I really dislike the weigh ins where my losses are very small despite a great week. I can usually blame it on my hormones. But if I remain faithful to the Weight Watchers program, I get a big windfall of awesome numbers for the next weigh in or two. That's what happened this week. I'm down 3.2 lbs, making my total weight loss at 42 lbs. Yay!!

I must admit, .6 of that is from pj bottoms I'm tucking away now that the temps are getting warmer. I guess I'll have to adjust to a bi... Sun, 27 Apr 2014 10:02:34 EST Happy Easter! http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5676250 I was completely surprised to see a .4 weight loss this morning. My hormones are ruling the roost right now and I have no doubt I'm dragging around water weight. Mentally, I was all set to record my gain into my Weight Watchers app. Imagine my surprise to see a loss instead, no matter how small!

There will be no dieting for me today. It's the way I have chosen to deal with holidays at this time. I will not track or worry about any of it. I'm just going to enjoy without bingin... Sun, 20 Apr 2014 09:54:26 EST 38 lbs gone so far! http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5671169 Yay! I'm down .4 lb this weigh in! It was more like 1.4 lbs the day before, but according to my tracking results over the last 7 months, my body will lose very little or even gain over the next 2 weeks even though I'm following Weight Watchers to the letter. Knowing that gives me the power to ignore the scale and keep on keeping on!

Celebrex and Inderal have completely changed my day-to-day. Wow, what a difference! I wake up excited about each day and my headaches have decreas... Sun, 13 Apr 2014 12:59:54 EST Seeing numbers on the scale I haven't seen for 10+ years! http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5665608 3.6 lbs gone for this weigh in! Well, sort of. My body gains water weight SUPER easy. My weigh ins are Sunday mornings. If I do anything involving fast food on Saturdays, it completely throws things off. Two Fridays ago, I was showing something like a 1.5 lb weight loss for the week already. Then I had two fast food meals during a trip out of town the next day, Saturday. That made it look like I had a gain for my Sunday weigh in. A few days after, it had all evened out. So, today's r... Sun, 6 Apr 2014 10:55:10 EST 35 lbs gone in all! :) http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5654509 Another 1.8 lbs gone, according to this morning's weekly weigh-in. That makes 35 lbs gone altogether since starting Weight Watchers at the beginning of September. Yay me! :) I guess that averages out to 5 lbs a month, huh? That's sort of depressing. Yet, it isn't GAINING, so that makes it less depressing! And I'm learning how to eat in a healthy way. It really is no wonder how I gained all this weight! I used to eat very few fruits and veggies and what little I did eat was more like condime... Sun, 23 Mar 2014 10:57:13 EST Celebrex, Inderal, and apparently, arthritis in my knees! http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5651879 I know there are a lot of differing opinions on Obamacare, but because of it, I have insurance for the first time in 15 years. I went to the doctor today to see about a few chronic issues. I'm now on Celebrex and Inderal, and have discovered the pain in my knees is arthritis. Hopefully, the meds will help me sleep better and get rid of my chronic migraines. As for the arthritis, I think I'll stick with ibuprofen since it really does help.

Have a good one, y'all!

Wed, 19 Mar 2014 20:40:17 EST Burning my Super Mom cape along with another .8 lb! http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5649250 Looks like I had an .8 lb weight loss last week! Yay!! I suspect it was a bit more than that, but I ate a McD's burger, fries, and fried pie last night and the salt will definitely throw things off. That's ok. The meal was DELICIOUS and I don't regret one single bite! :)

I had a super-mom melt down last week. I was tired and depressed and just couldn't face another week. I made an impromptu decision to call off our homeschool work for a couple of weeks so I could rest, reco... Sun, 16 Mar 2014 15:50:50 EST Snow, sickness, and an expected weight gain http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5643502 Despite staying in my points range, I gained for this weigh in. I'm sure it's hormone's combined with the salty food I had last night. I've noticed I have two or three big-loss weigh-ins then one with a gain, so it was time to see the numbers rise. I shall just keep on, keepin' on! :)

It has been all snow and sickness around here this week. Here in the Ozark Mountains, we aren't used to the amount of snow we've had this winter. When I was a child, it wasn't unusual at all to h... Sun, 9 Mar 2014 10:40:17 EST Well, would you look at that! (I LOVE WEIGHT WATCHERS!!!) http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5637553 I had another BIG loss this week -- 2.4 lbs!! It's funny. I haven't changed a thing compared to the weeks I lost less than a lb or gained. This whole weight loss process is such a mystery to me. Anyway, I am 2.4 lbs lighter this week and I am a happy woman!!

I'm down 33.4 lbs altogether since I started Weight Watchers in September. I've gone down from a tight size 26W in jeans to a loose 22W. I'm doing my best not to have to buy any new clothes here at the end of winter, but ... Sun, 2 Mar 2014 10:43:28 EST Last week & this week balanced out, plus a non-diet related issue http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5631512 The scale shows I lost 2.6 lbs this week. Yay me!! Last week, I had a sudden gain of something like 2 lbs in 2 days, so I suspect some of this week's weight loss can be attributed to losing last weeks water weight. Either way, loss is loss and I'm thrilled!

I must admit that I'm wishing all this would go faster. It may be time to throw in a little exercise. I just don't know if my knees can take it or how to consistently find the time in my crazy, wacked out schedule.
<B... Sun, 23 Feb 2014 10:54:28 EST Well, DARN!! But not unexpected ... http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5625416 On Valentine's Day, I weighed in a full pound down from the previous weigh in. I enjoyed my planned V-day splurge, but find I'm up an entire pound over my last weigh in! Knowing there's no logical way I gained 2 lbs of FAT in a 24 hour period, I'm chalking it up to water weight from my splurge dinner and it being about that TOM.

Today, I am happily back to tracking and eating sensibly. Thank you, Weight Watchers, for the guidance! I need it and obviously thrive when I use it. :... Sun, 16 Feb 2014 10:05:22 EST Goodbye 1.6 lbs! Preparing for a mini-goal by 5-25-14. http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5619310 Praise God (and Weight Watchers)! Goodbye to another 1.6 lbs!! I am now at 218 lbs. I have a mini-goal of being below 200 lbs by May 25th (my birthday). That's 18 lbs in 15 weeks. I'm pretty sure if I just keep going faithfully along the WW way, it'll happen. And it will be the first time in 15 years I've been below 200 lbs.

I did go through a few rough days this week. I got the hormonal munchies. Ladies, you know what I'm talking about. That feeling that you would even eat... Sun, 9 Feb 2014 10:12:13 EST THIS is definitely better than THAT! http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5613212 Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow!!!! It's a beautiful, snowy day here in the Ozark Mountains!! I wish it would do this all winter. :)

The scales show another 1.2 lb weight loss this week. It's sort of depressing to see such little amounts go away. But when I felt the pity party moving into my brain this morning, I reminded myself that losing 4-6 lbs a month (my average thus far) is WAY BETTER than gaining 2 lbs a month as I've been doing the last few years! And WW has bee... Sun, 2 Feb 2014 16:39:16 EST Down another 2.4 lbs! :) Thanks, Weight Watchers! http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5606104 Yay me! My weight loss is funny in that I may do everything right and lose only tenths of a pound each week for several weeks then suddenly have a huge weight loss even though I didn't change my routine one iota. I guess God knew I needed a mental boost today and gave me a great surprise with 2.4 pounds gone from the scale. Woo hoo!

I'm feeling so thankful today compared to last week's post. My daughter's intake appointment for the hair-pulling issue went well and the counselor... Sun, 26 Jan 2014 11:45:27 EST One more pound gone :) (... or "Would you like some cheese with that whine?") http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5599606 I'm down another pound this week and am having no problem staying On Point with Weight Watchers. Goodbye fat! One more pound to go before I reach my before-Christmas hiatus weight. Funny, I took two weeks off of dieting for the holidays and it's going to take 3 weeks to get back on track! I must say, though, it was worth it. Maybe not to everybody, but to me it was. I'll gladly handle the holidays the same way this year.

I did much better making my magic soup this week. It w... Mon, 20 Jan 2014 01:10:50 EST First full week back OP since the Holidays http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5591035 Goodbye another 4.4 lbs! Yay! It feels good to be back on track and eating healthier. Eating the goodies during the holidays was fun, but I noticed I didn't feel as good in general. It's nice to have my energy back. :)

I have this amazing soup I've been making for weeks now that is one of my secret weapons for staying on point. It's a veggie soup that I posted the recipe for here in my blog. There's a ton of chopping involved, but it makes a nice big pot and often lasts an ent... Sun, 12 Jan 2014 09:50:51 EST Back On Track with Weight Watchers! :) http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5582954 Sooo ... today is my first day back on the Weight Watchers program! I took a planned two week break from the 22nd to yesterday and enjoyed every minute of the food and fun. On the down side, I'm now 7 lbs heavier.

Funny thing is, I'm really not that upset about the 7lbs. I have Weight Watchers in my bag of tricks and it'll be off in no time. I've never been this enthusiastic about a weight loss program before, especially after this amount of time!

May 2014 be our best ... Sun, 5 Jan 2014 12:24:29 EST Not for this gal. http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5553487 My weight loss has been pretty steady these last two weeks that I didn't blog with a few of the usual ups and downs. Nothing too surprising one way or another and I stayed On Point (OP) the whole time. Still loving the Weight Watchers Online program!! Actually, I've about decided it's currently my best friend! Let me tell you why ...

I had decided way before Thanksgiving to take the advice, "Don't do anything to lose weight that you aren't willing to do to maintain it." I knew I wo... Sat, 30 Nov 2013 14:01:56 EST Whoa! Rebound! http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5543310 Last week, I GAINED .8 lbs despite staying on point with my WW diet plan the whole week. That's disappointing, but I know that's the way my body rolls sometimes. This morning's weigh-in shows a 2.6 lbs weight loss! I'm certain I didn't drop all that in one week. I haven't seen a number like that since the first few weeks of the program where my body releases pounds of water along with fat. The week I gained, I had probably gained some hormonal water weight, which masked my weight loss, th... Sun, 17 Nov 2013 09:39:19 EST The Weigh-In We All Dread http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5537329 It's happened. The weigh-in we all dread. Despite following the Weight Watchers program to the letter this last week, I had an .8 lb gain. That's life, I suppose. I figure it's hormone related. :( I WILL remind myself how fickle the scale is and that the numbers it spits out will not always be an accurate reflection of the amount of fat my body contains.

The kids have been begging me to stroll through the Christmas stuff in the stores. I am officially getting scared of the Holid... Sun, 10 Nov 2013 12:56:29 EST Feeling cranky and need to snap out of it http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5530870 It's a beautiful fall day AND I got an extra hour of much needed sleep. What have I got to be cranky about?

Nothing, really. But I do know my mood went south when I stepped on the scale (it's weigh-in day) and had lost exactly one pound. Why is it one day, I'm willing to accept that Weight Watchers gives a loss of .5-2 lbs a week and others it annoys me? I guess because I had done so well with tracking and planning and staying within my points despite all the Halloween goodies ... Sun, 3 Nov 2013 11:05:22 EST I made it through October! Yay for November 1st! http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5529224 It's November 1st and I'm going to claim bragging rights to not overdoing it on candy this week. Woo hoo! We didn't keep candy out this week, which I'm sure was best for EVERYBODY in the family, and only got the bags out last night. We don't celebrate Halloween, but we do try to find a movie to watch as a family and eat candy. I made sure to eat light all day then figured out a reasonable amount of candy and tracked the Points. I'm so proud of myself! There have been many years I went t... Fri, 1 Nov 2013 12:00:03 EST Uh oh! Here's where my stumbling blocks usually happen http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5526552 Weight Watchers has been going great and I've got absolutely ZERO complaints about the program. I've never been on such an easy program!

Here's where life trips me up -- STRESS. We are a one-income family. My husband is a long-haul truck driver. He works pretty much daily and this gets us by for 2 reasons -- one, the money keeps coming in to pay the bills and two, it keeps him gone so we don't feel the need to fight all the time and probably get a divorce. Tue, 29 Oct 2013 13:32:01 EST Good bye and good riddance, you ugly, annoying 15.2 lbs! http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5524604 Weigh in #7 has me down 15.2 lbs. I am thrilled! I've got to grocery shop today and I'm pumped about getting more foods that I don't have to feel guilty about eating. :) That soup recipe I posted is still at the top of my favorites list!

I have high hopes to be down 20 lbs by Thanksgiving. Mon, 21 Oct 2013 08:47:32 EST My new favorite veggie soup recipe and an annoying cell phone problem http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5518469 Weight Watchers still rocks! Both my dd and I are down in pounds and neither of us feels deprived. Truly, I am eating healthier than I probably ever have and it hasn't been hard mentally or physically at all! The only thing that throws me a little is the results aren't even slightly consistent each week. One week I'll have a big loss of 2+ lbs, yet another will only show a few ounces of loss. Then I take a look at the overall trend and I do a happy dance. How can I possible complain when WW h... Sun, 20 Oct 2013 11:47:17 EST 14 yo DD has decided to join me http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5514711 She's got a little bit to lose and has seen how easy Weight Watchers has been for me. She's also been enjoying the dinners I've made with my points in mind. It's nice to have company! We figured up how many Daily Points she needs through a free computer program and she's been doing great.

Tue, 15 Oct 2013 22:51:57 EST Had a dangerous eating week, but Weight Watchers pulled through! http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5512332 With Weight Watchers (WW), you get Daily Points and Weekly Points. You are more than welcome to use every single point from the Daily and Weekly categories, but WW highly recommends you get in at least the minimum of the Daily Points every day. How much of the Weeklies you use is up to you. Well, you know how it is when you first start your diet and enthusiasm is high! The first four weeks, I didn't use that many of my Weeklies, mainly just my Dailies. This week completely blew that and I was... Sun, 13 Oct 2013 13:09:33 EST Diabetes? http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5507728 For a few months now, I've had this vague sort of tiredness and soreness that doesn't go away no matter how much rest I get. Plus, I'm making a hundred trips to the bathroom each day. I'm starting to wonder about diabetes. Type 2 appears in my family often enough that it's a legitimate concern. I don't have other signs, like an increased thirst, just the tiredness/soreness and needing to urinate often. With no insurance, I guess I'll just have to wait and see. Tue, 8 Oct 2013 08:27:49 EST Weigh In #4 on Weight Watchers http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5505872 I was totally apprehensive about stepping on the scale this morning. I got brave and ate almost all of my weekly points this week, including a Quarter Pounder with Cheese and a medium fries last night. That still left me with a lot of points to use, so had a rather large snack before bed of 1 cup shell-on pistachios and a Rice Krispie treat. I was stunned to see the scale down a few more lbs for the week! In 4 weeks, I've lost 10 lbs. 244

I'll be able to wear that... Sun, 6 Oct 2013 10:22:17 EST I still don't feel like I'm on a diet! :) http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5504697 This morning, the scale read I'm a touch over 9 lbs lighter than three and a half weeks ago. YAY!! And I'm still LOVING Weight Watchers! Usually by 3.5 weeks into a diet, I'm white-knuckling my way through each meal. Not so with this so far! I know hard times will eventually hit that throw me off plan. That's life. But I have a feeling I won't dread getting back down to business knowing WW is the plan that keeps me losing and SANE. Fri, 4 Oct 2013 20:15:00 EST What will change and what WILL NOT change once I lose this weight? http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5500116 Like I pondered in yesterday evening's blog entry, I wonder what will change and what WILL NOT change about me once I lose this weight. Will I gain interest in things that aren't sitting activities or will I still prefer reading, crafts, and messing around on the computer? Will I have less compassion for my friend who refuses to do anything about her weight and food addiction since I've worked so hard and know it can be done? Will I sleep better (even though I don't have sleep apnea)?
... Mon, 30 Sep 2013 09:44:56 EST Or am I really just not that interested in those things anymore. Guess I'll find out! http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5499754 Busy, busy weekend! My public-schooled dd had the day off from school Friday, so we took off to a town a couple of hours away that has a Tanger Outlet complex. The kids needed winter clothes, so we shopped ourselves silly. I needed a winter coat, too, but there wasn't anything in my size. :( I did find one today, though. I got it a size smaller than what I really need, so I'm going to work my butt (and belly!) off to get into it by November or so! This Weight Watchers plan is going so w... Sun, 29 Sep 2013 22:51:08 EST Totally unmotivated to do this day http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5494661 I'm feeling terribly unmotivated today. Not with my eating plan -- that's actually going very well! I mean with today's scheduled activities. My dd had to see the doctor yesterday, so that scratched school for the day (she and my youngest ds homeschool). The doc has scheduled physical therapy for her this afternoon, so we need to do our best to get school in before then. Tomorrow, I've got a mid-morning appointment that'll keep us from doing school. Thursday looks like our one clear day... Tue, 24 Sep 2013 09:37:39 EST First day of Fall and I'm 7 lbs lighter than 2 wks ago! :) http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5492690 I hate summer. I know, I know -- it's un-American or something. I say that and people look at me like I've grown a third eye. While other people dream of sandy beaches and bikinis, I dream of snowy mountain top cabins and jeans and boots. So today, I feel like celebrating! It's the first day of Fall! We are having a cool stretch of 70s as a high and I feel renewed. I hide under the a/c all summer, so it feels like I've been released from prison as I enjoy the outdoors again.

... Sun, 22 Sep 2013 11:11:11 EST Oops! But who cares?! I lost weight! :) http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5486536 I guess I must have been off in my math when I thought I'd lost 4.7 lbs yesterday. Turns out the official loss is 3.8 lbs for this last week. I am fine with that! Yay!!!!

I can really tell it in my clothes, too. I have one of those body shapes that tends to hold a lot of extra weight in the belly, making me look pregnant. I get that horrible, "So, when are you due?" and references to being pregnant all the time. :( For instance, we were considering a product for one of our pets. ... Sun, 15 Sep 2013 20:09:20 EST So easy! (No, I'm not trying to sell Weight Watchers! lol) http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5485356 I'm down 4.7 lbs in 6 days! Wow! I have a lot of weight to lose and this is only my first week, so I realize I won't see huge losses like this for long. But for today, I'm doing the happy dance! 224

Weight Watchers Online has got to be the easiest diet I have ever done. Fruits and most veggies are free, so I don't even have to track those if I don't want to. Right now, they have my daily points set at 36 points and my weekly "anytime" points set at 49. I stick to about... Sat, 14 Sep 2013 12:20:33 EST
