It was fantastic! The food was amazing, the ship was amazing, the staff was amazing, and our excursions were fabulous! The weather was perfect the whole time- and my in-laws had a great time too! If you haven't done a Disney cruise, give it some serious thought! We even booked another for next year!! Norway- here we come! June 2015! So now I have another thing to keep my mind focused for staying in shape! Guess we just have to keep booking cruises! <B... Wed, 11 Jun 2014 13:26:27 EST Bathing suit shopping.... http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5689669 So I finally decided to bite the bullet and go bathing suit shopping. I wanted 2 for the cruise-double trouble..
I found the bottoms, one is a small skirt, one is a high waist normal bottoms, covers everything, both in black.
Pretty happy with that, but let me just say, bathing suit shopping should be listed as a cardio workout....
Finally found one top, pretty cute, and fairly flattering...
What is surprising me is with all the shopping, and seeing some hideous things o... Wed, 7 May 2014 10:26:41 EST seriously http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5671787 okay- that cruise is now only about a month and a half a way...I'd like to tone a little more-possibly lose 10lbs....I started off the day with a workout...a bowl of low sugar oatmeal and a mango, 2 cups of water and a cup of coffee. I am still working to put less sugar in my coffee, its not going well....sigh.
I just need to be consistent. I have not been working out like I should and I have been justifying bad food choices-I just need to buckle down now . Going to try putting my wor... Mon, 14 Apr 2014 08:12:24 EST you are fueled http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5638347 Its been a while since I have been active here- but I always find my way back!! 211

We bought a new exercise machine...mostly for my husband (who swears he will use it, but I digress). Its kind of like a seated elliptical, with arm rowing things. It has bars to put your feet on and just work the arms too, and if you sit up and concentrate on your posture, and not turn your body while your rowing, it works your abs too. Its fairly low impact, but I get more of a total... Mon, 3 Mar 2014 08:57:27 EST Heading out of town http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5591070 Today I am off to Minneapolis. I am going to do some training for a new position I received at work....The position isn't anything really new, I have been doing a lot of it all along, now I have a bit more authority and a little more responsibility. I will be in charge of training, so now I have to learn how to train people. I know how to do my actual job, I am not so good at teaching what I am doing...so essentially I'm training to train! To be honest, I am a little nervous, on many level... Thu, 9 Jan 2014 10:55:05 EST morning surprises http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5584168 I told myself, no matter what, I was going to do at least a 15 minute workout this morning...I have had a bit of a break from my exercise routine, mostly being busy with the holidays, family from out of town, a general feel of laziness, and now a head cold and cough. But, I need to get active again. Even though I am fighting some sort of head cold, I actually did a modified circuit type workout. A total of 15 minutes on the treadmill, walking at a fast pace, with about 10-12 dumbbell exe... Mon, 6 Jan 2014 11:00:38 EST my plan http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5581693 Monday is a great day to start up again...that's my plan. I have been better about what I ate then just killed it all yesterday with a trip to the movies followed by dinner at McDonalds. I didn't really try to eat healthy - unless you count eating hamburgers instead of cheeseburgers....Feeling kind of down about it...might be the head cold hanging out in my sinuses talking- but I just don't feel like exercising right now. So my solution is to give myself 2 good days of rest and no pressure... Sat, 4 Jan 2014 09:37:58 EST sugar rush http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5577703 Yesterday I joined the sweet tooth challenge- I think I take in way too much sugar, and decided to give it a shot. Even when I am really exercising and watching what I eat, it is still really hard to see any progress in me...so I figure it must be what I am eating that could be the problem...do I really know how much sugar I am eating? It is extremely easy to sugar my coffee way too much, and some of the so called "healthy" foods can contain more sugar than I expect...time to be aware! <B... Wed, 1 Jan 2014 11:04:58 EST a start to the new year http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5573676 Another year, another Christmas put to bed...I love the prep for the holidays and the Christmas music. But just like each year, it is done...I miss that stuff all ready...Do you make resolutions? I didn't used to, but I like the feeling of a new start-a new beginning each year. I try not to let it bother me if I don't keep them, after all, each new year is another start...But I have learned to make resolutions achievable and not quite so broad.
This year I am going to try to:
#1 ... Sat, 28 Dec 2013 10:23:47 EST Unexciting but normal http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5562802 Not a ton new here....I had some dental work done, a temporary crown until the permanent one comes in, which is not till the 30th. The problem is, my tooth hurts when I bite down on that side...eating is becoming an issue. Trying to deal with it, hoping it just hurts because of the work and anesthesia - hopefully it will get a bit better, otherwise, is gonna be a long 2 weeks....that's a bummer.

I did 3 really good workouts this week, planning to get another in tomorrow...feels ... But I made the effort to make good dinners...so I guess that is headway! I also skipped the gas station in the mornings, which keeps me from the dreaded powdered donuts...Still working on water intake. This is the first time I have willingly wanted and planned a trip to a sunny location that would demand a wearing of the dreaded bathing suit. I am really looking forward to it! Talk about progress! Sun, 29 Jan 2012 09:06:03 EST Just checking in.... http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=4697080 I am starting to get used to this maintaining thing. I am beginning to find the balance between eating healthy and eating what I'd like.Yesterday we went to Panda Express, and I shared a meal with my daughter and ate a half serving of Orange Chicken and fried rice. Not especially healthy, but I didnt go overboard, saved some money....and it filled me up just fine...good balance.
I started the walk/jog program this past week, and finished off the first week! Found it to be tough for... Sun, 22 Jan 2012 15:05:29 EST New workout http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=4686483 So, today I gave my new small pilates ball workout a shot...It was a tough workout, but not very exciting...but lets face it, those work outs that usually come with it are usually fairly uninspiring...but it did give me the tools to either do my own, or I may look for other work out videos that use the little ball. I did feel the burn in my inner thighs, since you squeeze the ball between your thighs while doing most of the ab exercises....so thats a bonus....course tomorrow I doubt I will b... So this morning, I actually got up and did a workout! I found a Walk/Jog program here on Spark that I decided to follow, not because I want to be in a race, but because I find if I dont have something to follow, especially for the boring treadmill, I will just become unmotivated. Its a 5 week program...and I will go back to work in an... I am still getting used to buying clothes in smaller sizes, and finding what actually looks good on me. I have found that watching "What not to wear" is actually somewhat helpful in that area. I dont always have the best eye for fashion, especially since my job is somewhat hard on clothes, and I am only allowed to wear black or khaki pants, with a red or black shirt....bu... Wed, 11 Jan 2012 18:18:32 EST Things to come in the new year http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=4668445 This is the first time I haven't made weight loss a goal for the new year, since I have actually lost nearly what I wanted to. So, I have spent a bit of time thinking of what I want my new goals to be. I definitely need to tone my muscles, since having lost weight, things are a little, um, saggy? I want to continue to stay healthy and energetic....I dont want ride the weight loss roller coaster anymore.
I have to say, I have gotten a little lax on the whole exercise and logging food... This past season of work was very busy for me, and while I was not able to do the exercise I wanted to do, I did concentrate on eating responsibly. So, I wish I could say I did not hit the drive thru all the time, but I did make much better choices, stayed away from Starbucks (most of the time), drank tons more water than usual, and I ate breakfast on a daily basis. So, for me I think I did well. I did squeeze in exercise when I coul... Mon, 28 Nov 2011 08:53:03 EST
