I stopped tracking last year and I regret that even more then stopping my exercising. When I track what eat...the truth is there in black and white. I can't forget that I ate something bad and hope those calories didn't count...they ALL count. Once I stopped tracking I started hitting my coworkers candy jar each day; they were small, so I would take three...that was an additional 200 calories or so that I simply forgot a... Took off yesterday, Friday, and got an early start...up at 4am...cleaned the oven, the fridge (got rid of all the science projects), washed rugs, curtains, went to the grocery store (bought only healthy foods) and rearranged the furniture in my living room. It was a busy, but productive, day. Ate well...made great choices. Went to lunch with a friend...didn't touch the bread and got a salad with chicken, sliced almonds (just a few) and balsamic vinegerette on the side. Dinner was a sandwich (300 cal) and 1/2 cup of Deyers Slow Churched Yogurt (100 cal). I am finishing out the day at about 1350 calories, but with the run this morning that will take me back to around 1200.... I have gained so much since I reached my goal weight this time last year. What I did wrong YESTERDAY...stopped tracking, stopped exercising, ate chocolate daily, drank wine daily and stopped seeking support from my fellow Sparkers...you name it, I did it.
