THINNERJANICE's SparkPeople Blog THINNERJANICE's Blog on SparkPeople, home of free diet plans and a healthy living community Week 1 Reflection Tracking Is Key I have been back on Spark for a week...tracking and exercising more. I stopped tracking last year and I regret that even more then stopping my exercising. When I track what eat...the truth is there in black and white. I can't forget that I ate something bad and hope those calories didn't count...they ALL count. Once I stopped tracking I started hitting my coworkers candy jar each day; they were small, so I would take three...that was an additional 200 calories or so that I simply forgot a... Mon, 12 Apr 2010 07:29:03 EST Spring Cleaning I am spring cleaning this weekend. Took off yesterday, Friday, and got an early start...up at 4am...cleaned the oven, the fridge (got rid of all the science projects), washed rugs, curtains, went to the grocery store (bought only healthy foods) and rearranged the furniture in my living room. It was a busy, but productive, day. Last night I went to see the band, Chicago, at the Majestic theater here in San Antonio...they were awesome!

Today hasn't been quite so good...I really... Sat, 10 Apr 2010 19:05:36 EST Day 2 Did well today...started out the day at 6am with a 10 minute run (plus 5 minutes on the warm up/cool down). Ate well...made great choices. Went to lunch with a friend...didn't touch the bread and got a salad with chicken, sliced almonds (just a few) and balsamic vinegerette on the side. Dinner was a sandwich (300 cal) and 1/2 cup of Deyers Slow Churched Yogurt (100 cal). I am finishing out the day at about 1350 calories, but with the run this morning that will take me back to around 1200.... Wed, 7 Apr 2010 20:02:38 EST TODAY TODAY I am starting over. I have gained so much since I reached my goal weight this time last year. What I did wrong YESTERDAY...stopped tracking, stopped exercising, ate chocolate daily, drank wine daily and stopped seeking support from my fellow name it, I did it. TODAY that all changes. TODAY I tracked what I ate...stayed away from the chocolate...and counted in my glass of wine (this is my end of day come is a must have). I am ending TODAY with 1273 calorie... Tue, 6 Apr 2010 20:03:50 EST Finally...back where I should be!! 244 I DID IT!!! I am back at my Weight Watchers goal weight! I lost almost 80 lbs. five years ago, starting around 224 and getting down to about 145. My official goal weight with WW is 148 and today I weighed in 148.0!!! I have had so many challenges over the last five years, the biggest was trying to find out what was wrong with me health wise and get that corrected. I put back on about 40 lbs. over 3 years and after my surgery could not seem to get it off. I had basically d... Wed, 15 Apr 2009 08:04:41 EST Week Three -- Goodbye 150's! I survived the yoga challenge! I have a few favorites and will try to continue to do them when I am stressed. I was totally annoyed when this challenge was posted, but decided to do my best. I would not want to do them in front of someone who knows even a little about yoga, but I did them to the best of my ability.

What I am most excited about this week is being DONE with my 150's. I weighed in on Friday at 149.2!!! I did pop up over the weekend, but I knew it was water gain, ... Tue, 14 Apr 2009 08:01:24 EST Week Two -- Sodium Challenge I know this is middle of week three, but better late than never!

Week two was good -- I lost 1.8 pounds, but 149 has aluded me yet another week. I want it so bad!! I made a taco casserole on the Thursday night before weigh in, and even though I used lower sodium taco seasoning, I know the sodium content was high. I wasn't surprised on Friday when I was at 151.2, which was a pound higher then Thursday morning. Ugh!! If I even walk by a table with salt and I will retain water! I... Wed, 8 Apr 2009 08:03:31 EST One week closer to becoming Hot to Trot! 104 I did it!! I survived week one and am done with one more pound. This has been an amazing week!!! I am so glad that I made the decision to join the Spring into Summer challenge. I am blessed to be on a team with the most caring group of women!! We have been keeping each other in prayer, encouraging each other, getting/giving advice and just plain being supportive on this journey to becoming HOT!! I will admit when I first received the email with all the challenges I was wor... Fri, 27 Mar 2009 21:54:33 EST Starting My HOT TO TROT Journey I am an accountant; I love to count...I even keep one of those stat books when I go to a baseball game to count pitches (my son is a pitcher). That is why Sparkpeople has worked so well for me. I faithfully count my water, my calories, my fitness and my weight.

I also LOVE to be challenged, which is why I signed up for the Spring into Summer Challenge. I lost 80 pounds 5 years ago (my highest weight was about 224, that I know of) and slowly put back on half. I did have health... Sat, 21 Mar 2009 09:45:48 EST
