I think for once I am realizing that food doesnt have to be my comfort... FINALLY. <BR> <BR> It hasnt even been two weeks and Im down 13.4 lbs. I feel soooo much better. For me to feel like I am really doing it this time, I need to go past a certain weight. Ive been waffling betweem my start weight and that weight for 2 years. So, once I surpass that I will feel as if I am more focused and committed than in the past. <BR> <BR> Having said that, it feels g... In the past, I would have had gone out for all the football games, drank a ton of beer, eaten a ton of crap and then beat myself up on the Monday - this is the vicious cycle I have lived for 6 years. <BR> <BR> I am stopping the cycle. I HAVE STOPPED the cycle. <BR> <BR> This weekend, I stayed in, watched the games, got some stuff done for work/school, cleaned my house, watched the games, spent some awesome cudle time with my pup and feel GREAT today! <BR> <BR> I LOST WEIGHT THIS WEEKEND.... I have restricted the caffeine, went low low carbs (only from fruits and veggies) and also am only allowing myself red wine. I miss coffee and I miss beer, LOL... but I have not cheated once. I did have 2 more glasses of wine than I should have this week, but im not going to kill myself over it. I really wanted beer and fireball but chose red wine instead. (I wanted to limit wine to one day a week - and had it two days this week; but given the str... Sat, 11 Jan 2014 13:24:05 EST Great week thus far! I am on Day 4 of no caffeine, no cheese, no bread and no processed carbs. The only carbs are from fuits and veggies... this has been challenging, but I also have less tummy toubles too! So, it's been rewarding. <BR> <BR> I am also down 7.7 lbs of bloat - thank goodness. I have decided to weigh in on Thursdays and Mondays. The Thursday will keep me motivated for the weekend, and the Monday will keep me accountable from the weekend. =) <BR> <BR> Goals for this weeked: <BR> Gym Sat and Sun <... It's funny, I went back and read my blogs from the last 4 years and every new year I say I am going to change and it works for awhile, but then I end up right back where I was. <BR> <BR> In all honesty - this time it feels different. I've had a really hard year and I can honestly say I have hit rock bottom. I even had thoughts of suicide that scared the daylights out of me.
