I didn't think I'd actually use it. Yep.... I was wrong. That thing is taped to my mirror, and I rewrote it in HUGE letters. And I like colors, so there are colors. Here's a picture of my original goal sheet.

Some of the goals have changed, but generally speaking they're about the same. And some don't apply any more, like the bridesmaid ... Fri, 1 Feb 2013 21:00:45 EST 30 Day Shred http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5217883 So I've been working out pretty hard and been seriously counting calories.

I FINALLY learned portion control and how to mange what I eat. Thank you to SparkPeople.com!

I lost 30 pounds, but then Christmas happened.... It wasn't as bad as it could have been, but I still feel like I could have been more attentive to my meals and working out.

However, my friend did the Jillian Michaels 30 Day Shred and she looks fantastic! And she's kept up with it. And then m... Mon, 21 Jan 2013 23:40:58 EST Staying on Track http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5023279 After a weekend at home, the calorie counting kinda went out the window. Oops.... so I'm gonna get back on track. Classes start this week!! Woot!

I have to make extra sure I stay on track here. I've got a wedding to get ready for 30 My best friend is getting married, and I'm the maid of honor. And with that status, I want to look good. Plus I'm going to try to keep the bride on track with fitness too. We'll be long distance fitness buddies.

My frien... Mon, 20 Aug 2012 12:03:33 EST New Record!! http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5010978 Hi everyone!!

So on top of doing Rugged Maniac, my friend and I have been running... ish. When we started we could barely go for a block without dying. Thursday, we went out for a jog with her dog, Maggie. It started to rain, and Maggie stopped. She was not a fan of the rain.

Aside from Maggie refusing to move for a solid 5 minutes, we ended up jogging for 2 miles!! It's the farthest we've ever gone without stopping. We've been tracking out progress with the Map My ... Sat, 11 Aug 2012 13:46:20 EST Rugged Maniac http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5001796 Hi everyone!!

So I've been working hard since my last post to get in shape for an obstacle course. I crawled under barbed wire, scaled barriers, trudged uphill, crawled through tunnels, and got covered in mud.

Here's me and my brother finishing 30

It was probably the hardest thing I have ever done. But it was 100% worth it!! If you have the opportunity to do one of these... Sun, 5 Aug 2012 10:58:41 EST Getting Back in the Groove http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=4712738 So, I haven't been as consistent as I wanted to be. But! My best friend is getting married and a bunch of my friends and I are going to sign up and do tough murder. I may die....

However, now with these specific goals in mind, it should be hard to get myself off track, and now I have an accessible support system. Woo!

To top it all off, I joined and gym and got a personal trainer. Today, I'm so disappointed in myself, halfway through I got really faint and had to stop. ... Mon, 30 Jan 2012 16:50:27 EST What does this "Consistent" mean? http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=4514357 So... if you couldn't figure by the title, I'm having trouble being consistent. It doesn't help that my university thinks that I don't pay for my gym membership (which is included in my tuition). Still I'm half tempted to get a gym membership somewhere else, because the university is getting a little ridiculous (like not mailing me my diploma, I only got one reordered 3 months after emailing them and then finally marching in there and demanding a new one be ordered). So needless to say I'm ... Sat, 1 Oct 2011 22:35:06 EST Blaaaaaaahhhhh http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=4408029 After this whole summer of working pretty hard, I must say I feel a little disappointed. All that work and I only lost about 5 pounds. I thought I'd lose more. Don't get my wrong I'm not going to give up or anything (5 pounds is still better than nothing), but I'm a little disappointed.

My parents and boyfriend say I look better, but secretly I don't believe them. I feel more energized and look forward to my quality exercise time, but I don't think I look any different. Regardl... Fri, 5 Aug 2011 00:09:05 EST Gah! The Power of the XBOX! http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=4331858 Today, I was energized and ready to go (at least as much as I can be when I wake up. I'm not the most active in the morning. I need time to turn on my batteries). I had my toast and yogurt, my morning snuggle with Bunbun, and was searching for something to do.

Read? Nah, I did that yesterday. While I enjoy Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy, I wasn't in a reading mood.

Netflix? Nah, I do that everyday while I work out. Save the movies for later.

Walk outside... Wed, 29 Jun 2011 23:51:44 EST So... The Final Harry Potter Movie is Coming Out Soon... http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=4329699 After having nothing new to say about what I've been doing, I thought I would share a little bit about quidditch. Seeing as the final Harry Potter movie is coming out soon, so to celebrate, you may want to get your friends together and play.

-Equipment-

1. Brooms - you'll need enough for 7 people per team, so 14 total (normal size brooms hurt, so using toy brooms will work better).

2. Hoops - 3 per side, if you can't make them vary in height that's ok for sta... Wed, 29 Jun 2011 01:08:26 EST The Lessons Learned in One Day... Amazing Isn't It? http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=4319139 First off, a HUGE thank you to the comments on my last entry. Before I skipped off to work today, I saw them, read them, and was absolutely elated. So thank you to making my day start off really great.

Also, I think Katy Perry deserves to be mentioned as well. Upon realizing that I had forgotten part of my work uniform while driving to work, the song Firework came on the radio.

Not only is that one of my most favorit... Fri, 24 Jun 2011 00:11:58 EST Mom Saves the Day! http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=4316886 Let me preface this by saying I have never written a blog post before. The only thing I have posted on the internet is my Facebook status, and even then maybe 15 people read those. So here goes.

I thought first I would introduce myself.

Hello SparkPeople! I'm Marianne. I'm 21 and... that's about it. I'm going to study to be a paralegal starting in the fall, and have a pet bunny named Bunbun. I also stopped playing volleyball to play Quidditch. Yes, the game from Ha...
