Sat, 10 Feb 2018 11:58:30 EST Was going to stay home and take it easy until I decided to see GP for sinus headache, etc. http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=6461515 I called about 12:30 and got an appointment at 2:30. Right after I hung up got a call from the company I declined life insurance with and then right after that I got another call from the company who has what’s left of my retirement account. (Sigh.). Both calls turned fairly lengthy and the second one called me back a second time and then follow-up with an email. I almost was late for the doctor appointment. Tue, 6 Feb 2018 22:52:48 EST Coming down after 4 wonderful days visiting with daughter..... http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=6456642 We had so much fun. Eating at the Mall of America was similar to eating at the airport (just sayin’). The aquarium at the Mall was the coolest. We were there when 3 employees were setting up goalposts in the depths of the tank for the competition between the Sharks and Turtles. There will be a live feed on line soon. Was exciting to see how interested the turtles and sharks were, trying to swoop in and one turtle kept trying to bite one of the guys. I walked more than 3 miles that day. <... Thank goodness I can afford to have my cable stations back. I have a new smart tv as my 10-y-o tv was near death (half of the screen was distorted for hours each day). Mon, 15 Jan 2018 13:20:38 EST Now for something completely different: What’s right!!! Lost some weight in past 2 weeks. http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=6445825 Finally showing results on the scale after staying the same and wavering for so long. My annual physical, my doctor complimented the change in weight. (Surprise, surprise). I am finally feeling much better as far as my back pain. <BR> <BR> I stayed indoors for past week due to extremely low wind chill temps, in the 30 to 35 below range. Sun, 26 Nov 2017 13:19:33 EST I am soon leaving the house to go swim at the gym in spite of cold weatherl http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=6430706 The gym is only 1/2 mile away but it will take about 30 minutes to get there as I have back pain that is not improving much in the past 6 weeks. I had a fall on my tailbone about Sept 20th and the pain has settled in the sacroiliac. I do feel better after swimming and whirlpool in and that is what I do when I go to the gym.
