My life is go go go, loads to do. <BR> <BR> I am trying to get back into my fitness program after being away for 5 months, don't know why I stopped, eating has been poor as well and I have been drinking more wine and beer which needs to be cut down. <BR> <BR> So the downside of my poor choices is that I am 225 lbs up from 190, my pants and shirts no longe... Mon, 27 Jul 2015 12:50:09 EST Great Week The past week went great, 4.50 lbs off, I know a lot of that weight will be water but it is nice to see the scale start to move down. <BR> <BR> Turbulence training requires interval training on a treadmill,bike or elliptical. I do have a treadmill but I am a bit heavy to start running so all my intervals are being done with my 35lb kettlebell. Wed, 7 Jan 2015 07:51:01 EST Successful week A very successful week with regards to my eating, I stayed well within my cals each day. <BR> <BR> The only way I am going to stay on top of my weight is to weigh daily. I have been doing this for the past 2 weeks, taking my average weight for the week on a Sunday, using it as a starting point for the following week. I also have measured my body fat percentage and taken my measurements with a tape measure. <BR> <BR> I have been using the following site, it has good info and will calcul... This may be why my weight rebounds back with a vengeance. <BR> I am going to try this, I will lower my current weight by 10%, maintain for 6 months, then lower again. I will be taking all my measurements again the end of this week. I continue to see improvements in my physique. I am lifting more weight and my cardio continues to improve, no doubt I will at some point hit a plateau, I am not there yet. Everything is going well, my eating was a bit off one day last week due to a family event but apart from that I was on track. I am eating between 1900 and 2200 cals a day and am eating way more then I was before. Meditation sessions have been very rewarding, I feel that over the past year I have grown spiritually and healed as well. My subconscious still releases memories from my past, painful ones at times, its all part and parcel of the healing that goes on with my Christian meditation practise. All in all a good week. <... Since my holidays I have found it hard to get back into a routine. I have to juggle my time as I have taken on a second job to help pay for some much needed dental work. <BR> My part time job does have one nice bonus, I get free membership to a state of the art gym, <BR> the only problem being I am to tired to use it !!! I am all fired up for tonight's turbulence training workout. <BR> I ordered and have received the chi run/walk program and training plan for 5k. I will post my thoughts after I have viewed the dvd and put it into practise. <em>334</em> Mon, 26 Aug 2013 09:07:43 EST Nearly Holidays I am on holiday the end of this week and I intend to relax on the beach, some swimming and long walks with my dog. <BR> I have found more turbulence training pdf files that I forgot I had so it looks like I have enough for 12 months. The program is working for me so I will take the advice of PLMITCH and carry on with the program. I have to say that I have enjoyed the program. <BR> I have to decide should I carry on with turbulence training or try P90x, a gift from a dear friend. I am also sleeping well. <BR> I came across chi running, I have read about it and it looks interesting. I am still sticking to turbulence training but will incorporate chi running at some point down the road, probably before the end of the summer. It is slow and steady progress, I am down 3% and 4lbs. I am trying very hard to keep my lean body mass and even increase it slightly. <BR> I am still following turbulence training and started the intermediate program last week which is going very well and I really like the program. <BR> I am still eating paleo/primal and follow it 85 to 90%,it is a satisfying way to eat, I don't seem to crave chocolate very much any more, ... I feel I should be doing more, I keep reminding myself, baby steps Paul, don't won't to hurt yourself. My food intake has been spot on, I do feel lighter and less bloated. Tue, 18 Jun 2013 09:32:22 EST Turbulence training I changed my workouts yesterday and started turbulence training. The strength training part took about 40 mins and the intervals 20 mins, so I was all done in 1 hour. I like the fact that the program changes every 4 weeks and I enjoyed the workout, even the intervals. I am continuing with my walking and yoga program so I am sort of back on track. My forehead is breaking out in some sort of rash and is very itchy.
