Ladies talked about their goals for the week and how they did and weighed in. The group lost a total of 12 pounds. I will go to a Wednesday morning meeting that is a little closer to home. If I like it, I'll attend that one. <BR> <BR> Yesterday I logged my foods at Sparkpeople.com. And I didn't go over 1100 calories. I could have, EASILY. I was hungry for dinner, but by lunch time I had already eaten over 1000 calories. The apple was ... Well, I was more aware of what I was eating than on other days. Okay, I felt better about the choices I made. :) I bought little dessert plates to use for portion control and I used that for chicken alfredo tonight. I still ate my piece of cake and a peanut butter cookie. But, I DID NOT overeat. That's my PLUS. But I did eat a lot more calories than I "should" have for weight loss. :) I also did a 30 minute program on the treadmill and I think I burned around 200 calories... I had wheat flour on my wrap at the Mall of America today. I drank an orange, carrot, banana juice from the juice bar and NO SWEETS! <BR> <BR> I found an immersion blender to blend my soups. I was excited to use it so I made squash soup. I added onion, carrot and celery to the mix - turmeric, chicken granules, and nutmeg with fresh ginger and basil. I put cayenne pepper in my own bowl.
