I go to work tomorrow - need to take care of some personal affairs. The heat is on and it's only 8 a.m. No training programme set yet - guess should use this time to control my eating. Feeling a bit adrift - but I do need to focus on some other things.

... I should arrive home 10 a.m. So I'm using the time difference to my advantage and blogging for today, yesterday.
Looking forward to getting home and being with my family & my familiar surroundings.

<img src="http://photos-ak.sparkpeople.com/nw/1/2/l1258500009... Sun, 15 Jun 2014 00:13:05 EST Travel Chit Chat http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5717864 I'm having a nice lie in.
Rental cars - It's interesting how rates for the same class of rental cars from the same agency can differ wildly between cities. Also the refueling charge. I wonder why Alamo/National just don't merge & Budget/Avis. I had a GM Cruze from Alamo & one from Hertz. The Hertz rental had all the bells and whistle. Leather seats, rear view console and odometer options. The Alamo rental didn't have these but it was 1/3rd of rate.

Airports - The regional... Sat, 14 Jun 2014 12:50:29 EST RUN OUT http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5717440 I had this desire to run back to back marathon. I finally did it. Clinton Iowa & Swan Lake Marathon in Viborg, South Dakota - June 7 & 8 respectively.

So if one back to back is good- 2 must be better. I head to Utah/Idaho for this weekend. Friday is Idaho. I complete that. But I am mentally & physically busted. I can't do another one so I will skip Utah. It's the same race organizers except you do the Bear Lake, Idaho side one day & the other state the next day. This is a rural/un... Fri, 13 Jun 2014 20:49:38 EST Temple http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5716427 Spent the day visiting Temple Square in Salt Lake City. I took in a movie/documentary on Joseph Smith. What struck me was that they love to build. Not just homes but large buildings. At Temple Square there are alot of buildings and a lot of huge buildings. All with modern amenities. The room we watched the documentary in easily rivalled a hall at Disney World spacewise & technology. The cinematography was Hollywood calibre. The Square was impressive.

After that drove to a Mall. W... When I left home on Thursday I went back one hour. That didn't seem to affect me very much. I'm now in Utah and I'm now 2hrs behind. I feel the difference. I want to have breakfast at 4 am & lunch at 10am. The city is surrounded by mountains and it's hot like Nassau here. I head home on Saturday night.

In 2012 I went to France with my son. That was 6 hrs ahead of Nassau. Aside from the jet lag I was constantly calculating what time...
