Sun, 13 Mar 2016 08:03:22 EST Wholewheat http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=6117413 I have been experimenting with wholewheat flour. I've done crust (pizza and pie) and dumplings. I am pleased with how they turned out and now I'm going to make that the standard. I ordered a sandwich for lunch yesterday - it was supposedly on wholewheat bread. But I could taste the different because it tasted very soft - like white bread does to me now. It lack the coarseness of whole wheat. I let a GF taste the dumplings - it was in a soup. I didn't tell her about the wholewheat. So ... Sat, 12 Mar 2016 11:03:53 EST I wasn't brave? http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=6116627 I have a vision of people who are brave, courageous and in thinking about it I think - my perception is not reality. I guess I get my perception from what you see in movies where people are out there and whipping up a crowd in a frenzy and all of the stars line up for success. It's identifiable, underscored and it's effect is immediate and remarkable.

I mentioned yesterday that at lunch on Wednesday, I passed on the dessert. I had some trepidation and wondered whether I could or... I told my boss to not have this lunch during lent anymore. Didn't get to Zumba on Tuesday or any exercise on Wednesday because of the project we are working on. i had a personal project that I thought was supposed to start yesterday, but the link was not live so I've got to check on that.

<img src="http://photosaws.sparkpeople.com/guid/e1903595-df07-44b0-8d5... The department is going out for lunch. I want to maintain my no dessert and no alcohol streak. But it is my custom to have dessert and alchohol when I go out for a meal. So I've got to think about what drink I'll order or being strong enough to order a Club Soda (fruit punch is consolation prize). Dessert will just be a pass. I have been craving fri... Wed, 9 Mar 2016 06:18:17 EST Moving on gradually http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=6114006 244 went for a run after work - just for 40 mins. Still trying to exercise in the morning. Plan to go to zumba this evening.

logged food - came in pretty much on calorie range. Amazing I thought I would be way under but a few nuts here and there - ran up those calories quickly.

Tue, 8 Mar 2016 06:19:14 EST Better http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=6113120 Yesterday, I went to the gym around 1p.m. I toyed between going for a walk/run (and the many different locations) and the gym (even thought to join one nearer to me). I was toying with so many different possibilities that I almost didn't do anything. I said to myself "keep it simple". So I went to the gym. It felt good to be in the gym. I ran on the treadmill for 40 mins, ST, core, hula hoop and stretched.
I went to the foodstore and bought some vegetables and fruit - should last... Mon, 7 Mar 2016 05:27:54 EST Miscel. http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=6112410 Yesterday got some private work done. DS was taken to the airport and he texted he arrived in MI safely. Went to a party in the evening. That is notable because I was inclined not to go , but went and stayed about 2 hours. Cooked a salmon quiche with wholewheat crust and stair-fried some shrimp. There is some leftover starch from a meal we had last week - so I'll eat that with the shrimp. I did cook a piece of salmon separately. My exercise is still on the to do list.

<i... Sun, 6 Mar 2016 08:05:18 EST
