It was the second day of humid, muggy weather and working out in the house was a real chore. It's important to get that cardio workout in as well as my yoga in on a daily basis. I missed the yoga today because I did the Richard Simmons, "Disco Sweat" workout that lasted for an hour and left me a bit achey, which disappeared over the evening hours. What a workout but it's great when you know you're burning those kind of calories! <BR> <BR> Today I made the smoothie for the first time and it was about mid-morning so it is being counted as both my breakfast and my lunch as it is sooooooooooo filling. I have decided to use this plan as a guideline to follow when I am in need of it but I will be modifying the plan somewhat to work with my body better than it has been. <BR> <BR> I lost 3# so am quite shocked at that but really happy about it! Wed, 13 May 2015 15:18:53 EST Day 20 on New Plan This is the last day of the second phase of this new plan and I have lost "3.0#" and a total of "11.8#" throughout the plan from day one til now. So I'm a happy camper but I have decided not to pursue this plan any longer. It just doesn't seem to be the plan for my body. I have had a number of conditions throughout this plan that just don't feel like they should be happening. Well, despite my mother in law's birthday yesterday and the fact that I cheated on the program by having a sirloin butt steak among other things, I woke up this morning and have lost "0.2#" so that is a very promising outlook for the days to come, starting again on Monday (tomorrow). I gained 3# but that is because I got tired of the program and decided to go off of it and start all over come Monday. Today is mother-in-law's birthday so I have a busy day ahead of me and we're taking her out for lunch this afternoon. I worked out extensively yesterday thinking that they may have been the problem but that didn't seem to have anything to do with my results. I'm a bit disheartened in that I have not lost (nor gained) any weight for this day on the plan. But what is getting me down is that I'm nowhere near the expected 10# weight loss for this phase. I can only believe that it's because I haven't been on the required smoothie for breakfast and I have opted to remain on the oatmeal and 1/2 grapefruit regime. At least I'm not having any more days where I gain any weight. I can proudly report in that I have lost another "0.4#"!!!! I know my muscles need toning and that begins to play around with the weight loss but, all in all, I believe it's going well. I'm staying on the food prescribed and I'm doing the workouts.
