Also, because of LENT, i am giving up Fast food. I was doing okay before, but noticed I was drinking soda more often than ever and I was Loving every sip of it. I also noticed that it was taking a toll on my weight and energy level. I would have that caffeine crash early, so I started getting lazy. <BR> Well LENT is always a good time to reflect on our bad habits and what we want to change in our lives. I gave up my beloved "sweets" for Lent. I am not one that eats alot of junk but I absolutely appreciate a sweet treat every now and then (brownies being my favorite). The first couple of days before Lent, I thought about what woul dbe hard for me to give up for the next 40 days. I had a list going of semi bad habits and such. (i.e... Ok, so here i am the day after thanksgiving and can honestly say that I am very proud of myself! i did not pile my plate to oblivion, i could actually say that i had really small portions of all items and got full on the first plate. So i did not go back for more until dinner time( we had thanksgiving brunch). So wayyy later on, i didn't go back for the same plate. i ended up just doing Turkey nachos-which were delicious! <BR> ANyways, i say i am proud because any other year it would've just... Fri, 26 Nov 2010 15:36:31 EST I've come quite a way--- You know it is easy to start something and half way through give up..and then try again..only to giv eup again...but SP has helped me by keeping track of where i last left off! I noticed that since starting with SP i have lost 20 lbs., It's weird because with all the starting, stopping, failing, giving up, pausing, etc....i kept focusing on what I havent done, instead of what I have done! <BR> 20 lbs is alot!! i still have a ways to go, but if i chip my way to my goal i am more than likely to...
