Thu, 21 Mar 2013 09:43:56 EST 7 Mile Morning It was rough, but I got up and ran my 7 miles, which I was supposed to do yesterday, but with time change didn't happen. Things are going well, my DS is healed very well & has been his normal self for over a week. He has a checkup next Tuesday just too make sure all is well, and we have noticed an improvement in his hearing and speech, so I'm expecting a good report.
Have a great Thursday 334 Wed, 23 Jan 2013 21:30:57 EST DS's surgery went well and now it's recovery time My son had his 4th set of tubes put in his eardrums and his tonsils and adenoids removed yesterday. The surgery went well, it was the waiting for him to wake up and stay awake that took the longest. The nurse finally said that we could go around 3 pm. after being there since 8:45, even though he was still sleepy. We got home, even with the snowy roads, and DS continued to sleep and drink when I woke him up. It was going really well until I tried to give him the Tylenol with codeine, which ... Ted Kennedy. Fri, 16 Nov 2012 09:26:46 EST Another Season done My girls' volleyball season ended on Tuesday night in the way I figured it would. They played well but thought they could come from behind and win every set, which didn't work. 39 I had really hoped for more than a one win season, but there's isn't much a coach can do but stay positive and give the tools they need to succeed and then hope that they do it. On the other hand, it's nice being home after school and I know that the hubby and the kids REALLY like it.
Besides tha... Fri, 2 Nov 2012 22:59:13 EST Coaching sometimes stinks! So I love to coach and I hate all at the same time. I had been hoping for a GREAT season and I knew with the girls I have it would be possible, but that's not the way it has been going the last month. We started the season well but we just haven't been able to finish the match and get the win. I'm also dealing with some attitude issues, which of course mess up things on the court. So I know that things need to change and I've been trying to stay positive with them but I'm starting to lose ... Sat, 6 Oct 2012 23:33:10 EST 9/8/12 "There are two ways to live your life. It's a busy weekend, Friday is Band Day, we usually have around 20 schools here to perform and this year we don't have school but I have heard teachers have inservice. Then Saturday I have a volleyball tournament and extend to get done later in the afternoon. So I would have to leave to go across the state after the tourney, getting west ... Have a wonderful weekend! Fri, 20 Jul 2012 23:52:59 EST Never-ending struggle Well it's the same thing that I've been dealing with for the last however many months. I just can't seem to keep nutrition side in check which in turn is keeping me from losing any of the weight that I want to be losing. I'm in my range today, high end, and as long as I don't eat anything I'll be good for today. This is what seems to be the problem, staying good during the evening hours tends to be my problem. I usually eat really well and where I need to be during the day, but at night th... Wed, 18 Jul 2012 20:15:00 EST Quiet Anniversary Weekend We returned home today from our anniversary getaway. We went out for supper the first night and then saw The Amazing Spiderman, which was a great movie. The next day we slept in a little & went for coffee and then took a nice ride on the motorcycle before a late lunch. We relaxed back at the hotel for a little while and then headed to my friend's wedding reception. I have been busy running all week with the 4th of July events, and having family and friends around. The 4th was wonderful, would have been better if it hadn't been SO HOT, but we had fun. 30 The family sat out front of our house and watched the parade and then we had lunch here so we could stay in AC, which was a GREAT idea!! The cousins played with water guns and we shot off a few fireworks before my sister, BIL and kids headed home. I had planned on a quick nap, since I had work... Fri, 6 Jul 2012 15:51:04 EST Missed a few days Sorry I've been MIA, it seems like I've been running around crazy and at night I'm just ready to relax & get some sleep.
I've been doing well, staying in the lower end of my range. I haven't seen major changes on the scale yet, but I'm going to be patient and try to stay positive. 9 (maybe thinking skinny will work:)
It seems like summer is flying by, as usual, and I've started painting the outside of house, one of many summer projects. I went to have a few chips which turned into more and then it was another thing and ended in a binge 39 . So having fessed up to my oops, I can say that I'm at 1405 right now and I won't be eating anything else due to the fact that I'm off to bed as soon as I'm done blogging. I did 45 minutes on the elliptical, 200 crunches and several walking trips with the kids today.

WHY the need for self-destruction!? I a... Thu, 21 Jun 2012 23:47:38 EST Day 6 I'm having another good day. I did 32 minutes of HIIT running on the treadmill and I'm at 1535 for calories today, a little higher then yesterday's so tomorrow I'll go back down again. So far it's working, I'm done another pound of water weight, soon I'll be losing the real stuff. 224
Thanks for stopping in and the picture on yesterday's blog is David Beckham not my loving DH:) Wed, 20 Jun 2012 20:55:58 EST Day 4 & 5 We survived yesterday's softball game, it was TOO HOT, but the girls all had plenty of water and I added sunblock to most of them and then ended up doing most of the coaching, due the coach being overheated. The game went well, but we stopped after the 2nd inning, (they only play 3), the girls were just too hot. We got home after 7:30 and ended up eating out again, but I had a grilled chicken breast and sweet potatoes fries. Not too bad plus I had run 5 miles so I figured it was ok.
Tod... Tue, 19 Jun 2012 22:20:22 EST Day 3 Well I didn't do horrible over the weekend but I didn't do as well as I would have liked to. Saturday I finished with 2045 calories which is 645 over what I would like to eat but still within my Spark calorie limit. I did the 40 minute Total Body workout from Sparkpeople 28 day bootcamp and then went to work at a local bar from 10-5:30.
