I am tired of feeling sad all of the time. Tired of feeling like I am unimportant. Tired of feeling like everything I do is wrong. Tired of feeling like no one cares. Tired of putting myself last. Tired of giving all I have only to get nothing in return. Tired of the tears, and tired of feeling like nothing is right. I just don't know what to do any more!

I don't even know who I am anymore. I used to be fun, energetic, happy, and outgoing. Now I am sad, tired, and boring. ... Fri, 21 Oct 2011 10:45:12 EST This week Food Tracking is getting easier! This week I am on a role with tracking my food, although it is quite difficult to eat healthy when you are in desperate need of a grocery store. I am always looking for good, family friendly, yet lower calorie dinner recipes.

Drinking enough water is also becoming easier. I try to keep a bottle of water close by at all times. What strategies do you use to make sure you are getting your water in?

So far I haven't got in much excercise. I am off work today and tomorr... Sun, 9 Oct 2011 12:02:19 EST The Plan for October! Let me start by saying that my plans for September did not happen as planned. I fell off the horse and let the exhaustion get the best of me. Now it's the start of a new month, so I am hoping to saddle back up and get back on the horse.

My Goals for October include:

FITNESS/DIET GOALS:
~ atleast 3 workouts/week
~ Complete a 5K at the end of the month
~ Track my food and workouts 5x/week
~ Drink more water

GOALS TO INCREASE SPARKPEOPLE ACT... Mon, 3 Oct 2011 18:54:33 EST New Month = New Goals: Time to Beat the Exhaustion Well August started off with a strong start on my road to weight loss and becoming healthier. The past 2 weeks have not gone quite as well as I had hoped. I let the hectic schedule and exhaustion get in the way of my workouts and food tracking. Being back at work has really taken a toll on my energy level, and I have let it get the best of me.

Stress has also been a key factor this past week. My father-in-law was admitted into the hospital a week ago today with a bleed in his b... Sat, 3 Sep 2011 09:42:24 EST Week 5: Motivation!!! I just love the feeling of a successful weigh-in! It has this amazing motivating power, that proves that your hard work truly is paying off. 334

Am I perfect every week? Do I stay within my nutritional ranges daily? Do I always get my full hour of workout time in? The answer to this, is definitely not! I do my best day after day, and some days I cave for that extra serving, that extra can of soda, or even a piece of cake at a birthday party. Does it mean that my ef... Mon, 15 Aug 2011 20:37:56 EST Back to Work As some of you may already know, I work for Special School District in a classroom with children with developmental disabilities (mainly those on the autism spectrum). Which means once school lets out for the summer, I am off work for the summer as well. Which allowed for more time with my own kids (I have 3) and more flexibility with workout time.

Well school is officially back in session tomorrow, which means back to work for me. I am excited to see my work kids, but I am also ... Sun, 14 Aug 2011 13:28:59 EST Week 4: Another Week and Another Pound Gone! Food tracking, portion control, and making healthier choices are starting to become easier for me. Although yesterday I did go a little overboard (I was extremely hungry and the spaghetti I made for dinner was tasting way to yummy).

All in all it was a successful week. After my weekly Monday morning weigh-in I have lost another pound forever. I was hoping for 2 pounds gone, but any type of loss = success in my book. 334

This week I plan on pushing extra ... Mon, 8 Aug 2011 10:08:58 EST Healthy Grocery Shopping on a very strict budget This just in! I despise grocery shopping when there are extremely limited funds to purchase food!!

It is extremely hard to eat healthy when you have next to nothing to spend on food. It is also difficult when everyone else in the house is not trying to lose weight, and want to have a few unhealthy snacks in the house.

Why is it that the leaner the meat, the more expensive it is? And Why in the world does it cost more to purchase healthy foods, than it does to purc... Sat, 6 Aug 2011 12:17:17 EST Crappy Birthday To Me!! Yesterday was my birthday! Was hoping to actually get to do a little something for me, but that didn't exactly happen. It turned out to be just another day in the world of me, mixed with a little bit of extra crazy.

I apologize in advance for the rant that follows this sentence, guess I just need to vent a little:

Had to get up at 4am to take my man to work (he had to be there at 5), so that I could have a car for the day. Then headed back home to shower, get dress... Wed, 3 Aug 2011 10:08:13 EST Week 3: Calories, Calories, Calories Feeling pretty good about getting my weekly workouts in. Made it to the Gym 3 times this week, and played Dance Central at home 2 times for about an hour each. Next week the goal is to get at least one more trip to the gym in, and to play 30 minutes of Dance Central daily.

I am really struggling, when it comes to sticking with my daily meal plan. I do really well planning out the day, and deciding what I am going to eat, and how much of it. During these meals, I measure everyth... Wed, 27 Jul 2011 09:28:31 EST Week 2: Food Tracking & Cardio This week I made it to the gym 3 times all on my own motivation. No workout buddy required to get me there! Monday I spent 35 minutes on the elliptical. I managed to go a distance of 2.6 miles and burned 274 calories. Tuesday I bumped it up a notch. I spent 40 minutes on the elliptical for a total of 3.07 miles and 330 calories torched. My next workout didn't occur until Friday. Mon, 25 Jul 2011 10:27:28 EST Week 1: Back on the Workout Wagon Last week was a success!

I made 3 trips to the gym. Monday night attended a "Drills to Make you Sweat" class. Wednesday night I attended Zumba. Friday night I did over 2 miles on the elliptical followed by 5 miles on a bike. Outside of the gym, I even played an hour of Dance Central on Tuesday. These workouts have not only increased my drive and motivation to reach my goals, they have also helped increase my energy levels and my mood (for the most part anyway).

I w...
