I never thought I would see 129. I hate to admit it but I fell off the wagon. I am still working out at least 3x a week, but my food is an issue. I have kinda been eating whatever I want. I am not tracking my calories. I need to start doing that again. <BR> <BR> I guess I got overwhelmed. I went from having help with my daughter to being a single mom having to juggle everything. I think I am getting a routine worked out, so the future is looking a little brighte... Tue, 26 Feb 2013 21:33:48 EST Week 6 of SP Been a really busy week. Went back to work. I walk between 10,000 and 15,000 steps a day. I got sick at the beginning of the week. That has been a tiny setback. The good news is that my weight is back in check. I am down to 131. Woohoo! <BR> <BR> Finished Week 2 Day 2 of 5k Your Way. I feel like it is starting to get easier. How awesome is that? This week I have been stressing a bit over my two pound gain. I needed a pick me up so I drug out the old measuring tape. I ran through the numbers and I lost 2 inches in my waist!! My waist to hip ratio has come down from .92 to .86. Even my body fat percentage moved, but not enough to brag about. <BR> <BR> So overall the measurements are looking better, my endurance has certainly improved, and my eating habits are ALOT better. Mon, 4 Feb 2013 17:43:48 EST Week 4 of SP This week hasn't quite went down the way I thought it would. I ended up taking a three day rest. I still walked 1 to 2 miles every night, but I had to stop the workouts. I finally started again today and I feel great. I looked forward to jogging and I can't wait to start my workout later. I guess both my body and mind needed a vacation. I won't let myself be upset that the scale probably won't budge this week. I feel stronger and I feel better. I've actually been doing the action steps and learning even more than I thought I would. <BR> <BR> I've been losing weight for a while now I guess. Fri, 25 Jan 2013 19:59:07 EST Week 2 of SP I have been walking around for a few days feeling my muscles. I mean I am sure they were always there, but now I know they are!! I feel the burn after working out and it makes me stand taller with shoulders back. I am noticing the difference. My overall mood has greatly improved. Soda It is amazing how much changed when I left soda, flavored drinks, and sweet tea behind. Picking up that water bottle has made a huge difference. I honestly believe I lost 3 to 4 pounds alone by going from 3 to 4 drinks a day to 0. My bottled water is great and I add some of the Mio stuff when it gets boring. I won't lie I cheat with a McDonald's Sweet Tea every once in a while. But I can only bring myself to drink half of it. I end up pouring out the rest of it and reaching for another water ... I just got back from a 20 minute walk and I feel great. Now I am reading healthy lifestyle articles, tracking calories, and getting outside and sweating. No big deal just a routine make sure you are still alive kind of thing. I get on the scale and it says 134.2. Yay! I am so excited. Finally progress. I look over at the technician and she just keeps on writing in her book, shaking her head. I ask her what my weight was last time. She says 144. Well great! Not so great I guess.
