Yay! http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5143892 Ok, just woke up at 6am this morning and did a 3 mile walk workout with Leslie Sansone. Last night I did a 30 minute stationary cycle while watching Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire with my daughter. I'm trying to find ways of getting the exercise in without my body noticing too much. ;-)

I am very hungry now but I really need a bath first. Fri, 23 Nov 2012 01:55:02 EST Getting ready to go back exercising again http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5143373 I am feeling very motivated by my wonderful fiancée and her awesome workouts of late and weight loss. I think she is amazing in every way and I am psyching myself up for a workout for when I get home today.

In fact, why wait? Going for a walk RIGHT NOW! :-)

Hoorah! Thu, 22 Nov 2012 10:33:39 EST Back to square one again :-( http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=4935139 I fell off the wagon, cut me knee and I was left rolling in the dirt.

So I pick myself up, dust myself off and try again.

Need to increase activity and start with a 30 minute cycle. The weather threw me the last while as I couldn't go for my walks at work. Also, have been so busy. It's no excuse because I vegged in the evenings and did nothing. Wed, 20 Jun 2012 17:59:45 EST Day 3 - Day of rest http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=4895604 Today (Wed) I gave it a rest, I did my 30+ minute walk and felt great. Last night the weather was so good I made a BBQ for the kids and of course I gorged (not too much but enough).

Muscles were (and are) sore but it leaves me in a perfect position for tonight's training as my body enjoys the recuperation period.

Exercise bike is back on the menu today and I hope to get in some good walking too. I might do triceps today which leaves me in a good position for legs tomorro... Thu, 24 May 2012 05:47:58 EST New workout regime this week - day 2 http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=4892818 Yesterday went well. I removed the early morning cycle as I feel this may be pushing too much too fast. As it is if I can get through this weeks schedule I will be doing amazing.

I feel as if I'm losing weight, I have more energy and I can feel my body responding. I'm getting in faster times with what seems less effort but actually I am keeping the intensity the same, just the time passes quicker in my head. Whoever discovered stationary cycling in front of a TV is awesome! I watch... Tue, 22 May 2012 10:55:12 EST New workout regime this week - day 1 http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=4891434 Late start to the day meant I am already behind by a 30 min Stationary bike ride scheduled for the AM but so far so good considering.

Intake was minimal and considering yesterday's food intake, this is a good thing! My fiancée posted some excellent advice so I'm eager to put some of that to the test this week if at all possible. As it's a tight week, I'll improvise. (Actually every week is a tight week! lol)

New workout regime for today:

Mon
=============... Mon, 21 May 2012 13:58:55 EST Plan B http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=4887702 Yesterday didn't go according to plan as I had an evening with the kids and I wasn't feeling very well the last two days. Today I wasn't a 100% but managed 40 mins brisk walking, 30 mins on the stationary bike along with push ups and calf raises.

All in all a great day. I also ate quite healthily and I can see that i'm not eating enough protein so will have to keep an eye on this over the next while. Fri, 18 May 2012 18:45:57 EST I've got to get my diet sorted out http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=4884054 I really need to sort out my diet. I am eating plenty of fresh fruit but I could do so much better. Protein is lacking I think too so I'll have to rectify that straight away.

I had to cut short my walk last night for a number of reasons but it's ok as I did a decent 40 minutes. Tonight I'm back on the stationary bike and I am making a roster for myself for next week. I'm going sort out a diet for myself too. I had hoped my fiancée would sort out something but I think it's good that... Wed, 16 May 2012 11:34:12 EST Still here http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=4882856 I'm feeling a bit down today for a number of reasons. I guess I'm always questioning myself and my own self worth. I really try to be better than I am but I wonder is trying enough?

Anyway, I'm going for my walk now. Tue, 15 May 2012 16:02:40 EST Time to get help http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=4878147 I've asked my fiancée for help in coming up with a nutritional diet that will help me in my endeavour to lose weight. She is an absolute expert in this area with more experience than most professionals even. I thank God she's in my corner and is willing to help me out.

Is there no end to how amazing this woman is? I'm a very lucky man to have her even despite me pissing her off today (unintentionally I might add but still). :-( Sat, 12 May 2012 10:42:23 EST Ready to get my ass in gear for the weekend. http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=4877284 Weighed myself on a shabby weighing scales but it's hard to see any reduction. I need to get a proper scales. I took it easy yesterday so I'm ready to kick my activity up a notch this weekend.

I'm getting ready to go for a walk and later on a cycle. I didn't get to do any strength building exercises this week so I have a lot to catch up for.

I obviously need to increase my exercising while decreasing my input so I'll be mindful of this. Fri, 11 May 2012 15:40:05 EST Increased intensity http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=4875140 Yesterday I got up and did a stationary cycle for 30 mins, did a 12 min walk at work while I waited for the IT Dept to get off their asses although I was dissapointed when they did as I was going for a 30 min walk. :-(

I did another 30 min cycle session later on before bed.

This morning I got up and did another 30 min cycle and I burned off 380 calories on the counter apparently. I notice the amount of calories increasing all the time. I wonder when I'll hit the 400 mark... Thu, 10 May 2012 08:41:32 EST Eating like crap - feeling like crap http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=4874315 Ate too much for dinner and feeling bloated. Although the day started off good as I did my stationary bike this morning, it was interrupted, I felt bloated and the weekend wasn't as productive as I hoped it would be with little or no exercise done. :-(

It's always sad to say goodbye to my kids but when they're crying because they don't want to go it's all the more harder....

I really need to get my act together. Just waiting for the dinner to digest then I'm going for it... Wed, 9 May 2012 16:52:29 EST Already feeling better mentally and physically http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=4862744 Had a bad breakfast (not healthy) so went at it with the walk at lunchtime. I feel really good after it. I did four laps at ten minutes a lap at a good pace so I'm really happy with that.

Checked my blood sugars and it is 4.6 and I feel great.

Planning to do exercises tonight - stationary bike, push-ups & sit-ups (abs still a bit sore so will see).

Am thinking about trying out a fitness regime that's on here maybe for a little while and see how it goes. Also, ... Wed, 2 May 2012 09:50:19 EST Day 1 - Making the changes slowly but surely http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=4860539 Ok, Day 1 wasn't so bad. I had initially wanted to go for a walk but that fell trhough when the kids stayed over again last night (seems like this is a regular thing now for over a month at this stage). It makes it hard to plan things when my ex sends the kids over on the nights she is supposed to have them but the kids and I aren't complaining! :-D

So Plan B was used. I did the stationary bike for 30 mins but half-way through my claf injury started acting up. I'm worried that this... Tue, 1 May 2012 04:57:09 EST First step on a long journey http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=4854457 Ok, this is it. I'm here and I'm ready to make the changes I need to in order to improve my health. Having recently found true love, I have found a reason to live, to live longer, to care about myself and my body. I guess I had given up on me. I owe everything to my fiancée whom I adore with all my heart...I'm here to make sure it's a healthy one! :-)

This week I was told by the doctor to make a very realistic weight reduction of 14 pounds in two months. I'm currently 253 punds (11... Fri, 27 Apr 2012 08:21:47 EST
