I've upped my calories and my exercise intensity per my wellness coach and this too shall pass. I haven't gained any, not even water weight, with Thanksgiving so that is a huge positive for me. I'm happy with readings from the doc last month, blood glucose was 77, BP was 110/70. He didn't even take my A1C level, said he would do that again in August since I was doing so well. My cholesterol had been on the high side of normal and it had dropped also, so he was fine with that for the first time in 0ver a year. After 6 months of NO sugar and very low carbs except for a couple "woops" and ONLY 2 "don't wanna hurt their feelings so I'll eat just one bite" my glycemic index rose from 5.7 (in May) to 6 this week. Doc put me on some very low grade medication for a trial run, and asked me to lose 5 more pounds. His wife is so funny, she said "she's already lost 46 and now you're telling her 5 more!" We went to 6 Flags this weekend and not only could I fit thru the turnstalls, the bars and seat belts on the rides all latched with ease! I had very little trouble keeping up with hubby and son---hubby has long legs and son was soooooo excited and went at almost a run!---and wasn't winded.
