I am close to normal but it still seems far away. I also am beginning to see other changes besides the scale. I am getting some definition in my arms and legs. Thu, 29 Jan 2015 19:05:51 EST Sunday was a rest day I usually make Tuesday my rest day because I am at work from 8 to 9pm. I still think it will be a great rest day. However, yesterday I rested. I was not feeling well and had no energy to do anything. So Sunday became my rest day. Mon, 26 Jan 2015 09:16:15 EST moving along I weighed myself two days in a row and the scale said that I was down a total of 4 pounds this week. And it stayed down when I weighed myself a few days later. I was excited for that. I have been eating within all my ranges including salt. I have been really focusing on salt and making sure I stay under 2300 mg. I have also been doing fitness blender workouts. They burn a ton of calories in 20-30 minutes. Thu, 22 Jan 2015 19:31:21 EST Measuring + HRM = Success I have been using a HRM since January 2nd and it has been helping me track the calories I burned. I like having the exact calorie burned. Measuring my food also helps out. I even measure my peanut butter I put on my sandwiches. Measuring has help a lot. My portion estimation has been somewhat off. <BR> <BR> Since the middle of December, I have lost about 10 pounds. I am excited to be down 10 pounds. All that went downhill when we bought a house and moved. I know it sounds like a silly excuse, but that is the truth. Moving messed up with eating healthier because for a long time we did not have a kitchen. Took 3 months to have kitchen with cabinets and working stove, 4 months to have a kitchen sink. It is nice to be accurate in weighing food especially when it comes to meat. 1 oz was a lot more than what I expected. I think I might have been over estimating my meat consumption. Mon, 4 Mar 2013 11:15:04 EST Another week I officially hit the 30 pounds lost this week. It feels so great to be 30 pounds lighter and moving down in pounds and out of my now to big clothes. It is a good thing that I never got rid of any of my clothes that did not fit. They are beginning to fit again. I am so happy. The weight it coming off a little slowly, but I set it to lose 1-2 pounds a week. I find that the biggest loss is over the weekends. I was able to run a mile this morning on the treadmill in 15 minutes. Granted it was a slow pace. But I am so happy to be able to run a mile. Usually when I am home alone, I usually just sit and watch TV and snack. So this past Saturday was great in that I did not snack nor sit around. So just having that movement helped a lot. I think I will be ready for week 3 come monday. I cannot wait to see how well I can do that week. This morning was a little rough due to not being able to breath through my nose. Head colds are no fun at all. I did stick with it. Ran/walk the first mile in 16:03 and the the second mile in 15:25. So in 36 minutes, I ran/walk 2.2 miles. I like the sound of that. Well, I reached my first one last week - weigh 275. My reward - trip to Seattle to see to amazing friends. I have cut out all prepackaged food, but somehow there is salt hiding in everything I eat. However, it is not like I am doubling my salt intake. The max I have gone over the 2300 is by 1000 and that was when we ate out. I don't add any salt to my food. I guess I need to continue looking for low salt foods. But I know when I don't, I eat when I am bored or sitting at the computer. I also started walking again. I also have been looking at SP videos and found a few that I can do while sitting at my desk.
