I would like to lose weight in order to be healthier, to be able to reduce or eliminate some of my medication, to have less strain on my knees and to be able to be more active. How will I reach this goal? By making healthier food choices, by working some exercise into my daily schedule through prayer and following God's guidelines. They are simple. 1. to stay within my calorie range 2. eat at least 5 servings veggies/fruit 3. Exercise for at least 10 minutes 4. write an encouraging note to someone 5. read my Bible and pray. I have set a long term goal of losing 113 pounds by January 17, 2015. My short term goal for this week is to make it a whole week sticking to my calorie range.
