So, yesterday, I was walking with a 72 y.o. friend, and when we were finishing our 3rd lap of the dam where we walk (4 laps makes 5.2 km), I asked if she could do the 5 K. She didn't think so! I suggested we sit on the bench for a few minutes and then decide. So, she went for it.... I don't think she ever walked 5K or even thought she could... but we proved it. <BR> <BR> No, it wasn't a fast, aerobic walk, but we did it.... Fresh air... I could see it the day I had A&W and the other day I had pizza, but where did the rest come from. I know how to fix it though... cook at home and non-processed foods... now just to do it. We went for a nice walk at the wildlife park today and then a few other little stops so it was another busy and tiring, but more relaxing day.
