It was such a FANTASTIC experience all around, and I'm inspired to write a blog entry about it. In 2008, I was 207 pounds. I didn't train for the race AT ALL, and was completely miserable the entire time. I had huge blisters on my feet, and wound up having to wear a walking cast for 3 weeks after the race due to bad tendonitis. I vowed to lose weight and get in shape for the next year's race. <BR> ...
